Garden To-Do List and Making Rose Hydrosol!🌹

  • Hey there! Thanks for watching:)
The last few weeks, Jon was away so I had my hands full! Before he left, the boys and he enjoyed swimming in our lake while I planted the Rosmaninho (French Lavender). I was pinching myself as I was in the glorious sun, hands dirty, smelling the Rosmaninho, and watching my family have a blast in our natural olympic sized swimming pool:)
For weeks, I've been going to check on our Damas Roses every morning, watching for them to be open enough to collect them. Enjoy the rose eye-candy, as I collect a bunch of them and make a rose hydrosol (distilled rose water) and glycerines (non-alcoholic extractions) for the first time, living out a childhood dream, so I can pass it on to my kids. I wish I could add smell to the videos!
I made a trusty to-do list for things that needed to be done in the garden and around the house on the land, and felt that good ol' satisfaction with each one checked off. You'll see that 'tidy' and 'cut back dead weeds' only get a half check bc theres SO much!
Thank you again for watching and supporting our channel:)
If you'd like to add any additional support, you can check out our Patreon page, where we have tiers of membership available from 2-8 Euros a month. I go into more depth about herbs & nutrition, as well as teach a monthly yoga class in nature.

Another wonderful video. You've captured some beautiful images of nature and your garden. If there is a place on earth close to heaven, it must be in a garden. And this is a take away: Some emotional benefits of Rose: Heart opening & connecting to love; Support in grief & sadness; Uplifting to mood & outlook on life. Nature has some special alchemy. Thank you.
