You can't shred on an accordion
Al: hold my ice cream...
Amen
well yes

Nevermind that, look at the fart hand guy go!
indeed
I personally think that Weird Al's songs would have made the best commercials for the products he sings about!
I know right!!!!!
agreed
you've seen toyland, right?
The E-bay song is awesome
Gregory Magarshak Lol
Notice there's really never any negative comments on a Weird Al video? He's a national treasure that must be protected at all costs!
I mean sure
Very true. Who can be angry with AL????
Facts
I saw only 1
@ToxicSgugarCookie it was one of his more immature ones in a comment section they just said like weird al was trash or something like that
I like how managed to integrate the random “ow”s in a lot of rock songs as some random kid biting his ankle
LoL 😂 yes ‼️😂
the fact he looks down before reacting is the best part
or a painful hernia
Or a brain freeze.
This is the most 80's thing I've ever seen.
Kung fury was more 80's
Salad and funny 😂
It's *'80s* ...not "80's".
The apostrophe goes before the 8, not after the 0. The reason is because _'80s_ is a shorthand way of writing _1980s._
Madison Jones you are awesome.
@phishbi - If you think this is 80’s, you need to watch Slegehammer next!😂
The fact that he’s been making song parodies for over 40 years is incredible!
But don't forget that less than half of the songs on Weird Al's 14 studio albums are parodies.
Al is an incredible song writer and it's his original songs that show his true genius!
@@sophiet1576 couldn’t agree with you more!
@@sophiet1576of course, just look at Hardware Store of Albuquerque!
My mom was actually at the bar that fateful night when Al first performed this song. She told me that the moment he pulled out that accordion, she knew he was something special. I like to imagine the woman threatening the bartender in Al's biopic was based off of her. RIP Al, you may be gone but you're never forgotten.
its so sad someone was carrying a M60.
@@YummyMelonzThe theater should’ve taken proper precautions. Al’s death could’ve been easily avoided.
He's alive tho
@@griffinbaker3509 it's a joke based off his new movie
@@griffinbaker3509 I can perfectly relate to your denial, brother, but I'm afraid that you'll have to admit the fact that Al is gone to the best of worlds.
The guy playing the hand farts is a legendary badass.
Also Al's facial expressions are hilarious😂
How do you know they're coming from hands and not buttholes?
Mike the musical hands, if I remember correctly. He inspired me to master the hand farts as a ten year old. Lol
Impressing my own kids with this skill today, they asked how I learned such a thing. ...so I showed them this video. 😁
@@LastBastian I feel like I'm reading my own life story, lmao. I took up 'the musical hands' at around the age of 8, didn't fully master it until my early teens but my brother and I were renowned at our high school for it, it was like a family trait.
@@CopiousDoinksLLC Important life skills my friend. 👍
@@LastBastian bahahahaha that's awesome lmao
1:10-1:11 Dr. Demento, Weird Al's inspiration, makes a cameo appearance. Two zany musical geniuses in one video, wow!
In the early 80's, Dr Demento fueled my love for absurd songs, and Al fed me all i wanted.
in fact al made his debut on dr. demento's show in radio
Fish heads!
He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life.
Homer Simpson
Well not my music teacher shes the one who taught us about werird al and that he is basiclly the bart baker of the 80's and yet his name is still legendary 36 years later.
+SuperGomez59 best Simpson one-liner
+Alvaro Is Awesome I'm sorry, but I disagree with your music Teacher, she shouldn't even compare Weird Al to Bart Baker, there's a big difference man. For one, most of Bart Baker's skits in his songs rely off of stereotypes of today's pop culture, which is extremely weak in its own right, Weird Al (While still doing parodies) does make original concepts based off of his OWN creations, hell, the only things similar are the lyrics really, I mean, take a look at Amish Paradise, come on... tell me that's not just a beautiful idea. Another thing, Bart Baker constantly shits out parodies of songs that become popular to profit off of it, while Weird Al started making parodies with the soul purpose of making content others could enjoy, he never realized he'd become famous from it, sure I guess the same could be said about Bart Baker, but if you make shitty parodies constantly that are aimed towards the teen demographic, eventually someone's going to start talking about it, then someone else, and then he's famous, rolling in that youtube money. Honestly, there's more to be said, but I really don't feel like explaining it any further, just watch a few of Weird Al's videos, then watch Bart's, the difference will become very clear.
I hear ya!!! I so agree.
Fun fact: Al got so addicted to rocky road ice cream while filming this video, that the AWw's were actual screams of pain from all the brain freeze he received while shoveling rocky road into his tummy. He later went to rehab where he received help for his addition from two young go-getters Ben & Jerry.
It's actually how he filmed the scenes for the BAD parody, FAT.

My "Lame Claim to Fame" is having a friend who was an extra in this video.

Yup. Weird.
@@marshwetland3808 Oh. That's why.
@@asovietreunion13 Yep, also if you check out John Candy's (another Canadian) sketches about Melonville, it seems to be based on a very popular accordion show that was locally broadcast for years and years. Oh, and here it is, Polka Time: ruclips.net/video/JWHhdG7682Y/видео.html AFter the intro, the big toothy grin of the "star" so reminds me of John Candy in melonville. "Musical Mike" Kieffer with his "farting" hands makes this parody even better.
Hearing Al say "MAKE IT TALK!" during the accordion solo ALWAYS makes me laugh.

Probably the greatest musician of all time
I've watched this video countless times over the years, and only now do I notice that the hands guy at 0:13 has the Schoedinger equation on his t-shirt!
That’s the secret formula to hand farts!
Musical Mike. Responsible for the fart sounds in all Al's early works
My Dad was 17 years old when this song was out in 1982, now 40 years later he's 56 years old but it's still retro.

Fun fact: The ice cream in this video is actually mashed potatoes.
Mashed potatoes painted brown with latex paint*
At 0:51 the one he bites into was supposed to be real but the real ice cream fell off so he bit the latex covered mashed potatoes.

Watch the extras’ expressions during the scenes of this.
The range is hysterically deliberate from wildly overacted to wildly underacted. And given some of the close ups, that’s fully intentional.
