I go to SFO all the way from my home in Reno Nevada, just to watch planes. I could just sit by the water all day and night and watch those amazing parallels👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 3 hours of driving is worth it for me!
You should come to NorCal TRACON sometime and watch how the radar controllers do it on their screens. Admittedly, it’s not as cool as watching airplanes.. but still interesting.
Absolutely incredible! I've seen dual takeoffs and landings before but not in such close proximity! Then you have one landing while another is rolling down the runway ..side by side. This has to among my favs of yours and there are many!
The most amazing and funest thing is being on one of the planes that are landing side by side. The passengers on both planes will make comments about racing the other plane. It's absolutely hilarious. We were like go go go : ) and wanted to win the race.

If you have ever been on one of those planes with the paralell takeoffs or landings, passengers are literally saying go go go like the planes are racing each other. It's totally fun and quite hilarious.
Considering the infinite array of subject matter covered on RUclips, if there was an award for ‘Best capturing of a given subject’ you’d be up there as a nominee alongside Fkugsnug.
My first flight into SFO I woke up just before landing and I almost jumped up out of my seat. I thought we were going down in the water.I didn't know the runway extend out into the bay. After I settled down I had to laugh at myself. Great view of the bay.
Couple years ago I was coming home from a weekend getaway when our pilot announced that we’d be doing a parallel landing with another flight at SFO. Everyone was glued to the right side windows. It was the coolest thing to see, as our planes were almost literally parallel from approach to landing.
2:09 The B747 has the best gear retraction kinematic of airliners and i find it fast . I m european and it s my favourite plane. Lots of memories with it. I m happy air china still flies those vessels. Its extinction makes me more sad than the a380 s.
I agree, and part of the reason is that the Queen of the Skies has a 50+ year history. The A380 as cool as it is, just doesn't have the legacy or history.
Unique video really enjoyed it. Good A380 777 and appeared to be A330 footage...few of my favs. Also enjoyed the footage of the 737 and 757 doing what appeared to be racing down the runway and heading out over the ocean on vid proir to this one.... footage over the ocean was incredible.
Brilliant video for comparing actual airliner sizes. Still think the A340-600 is the best looking plane ever made. It dwarfs its little sister (A320, is it?). It was the longest commercial aircraft until the B747-8 arrived.
