First assassins creed game I refused to do anything beyond the core story. After watching this, I'm so glad I got to enjoy other games instead. Thank you for struggling through this so I could at least watch what happens outside the main story that came with the box. I really hope the next game isn't as bloated as the past 3 games.
Last AC game I played was Black Flag and I replayed it again recently just to experience freedom cry dlc, as back when I played it first time on PS3 it didn't have dlc. It was honestly as great as I remembered.
I honestly don't know how they managed a game that was practically 90% filler and over a hundred hours long. Origins was just long enough to not overstay its welcome and Odyssey at least had a leveling system that wasn't also mostly bloat (and you can actually make skill builds in it). Everything in Valhalla is magically worse than the two games before it save for maybe the modern day plot. Which is about tolerable.
2:19 What I found awesome is that the Odin you see here, if you play as “male” Eivor, will be wearing the outfit you had on. So for mine you had this Franciscan monk looking Odin with a shaved head and buzzed beard.
Well, Eivor died as she lived: refusing to follow any paths while remaining frustratingly vague on what she intended to do. Really, though, that's all she did. Go on about how "that is not my path" and never really finding one.
Old AC games: a team of technicians would interact with Desmond verbally while he was in the animus. A bit jarring but has some logic to it (they kept this one pillar even up to Odyssey) Valhalla final update: abracadabra basim just magically appears behind evior to view the memory in the 3rd person despite basic lore stating the animus acts via the puppeteer concept but never outright states the user of the animus is walking directly behind the ancestor who’s memories they’ve reliving. This franchise definitely went down the toilet
The colorful fur ornament on Eivor's clothes is actually some kind of glitch lol. I believe they messed up some hue that supposedly makes it colored black
Ur kinda right i loved it in some way because i can lose myself for hours just playing and leveling but they could have done more and for my taste give us more of the actual assissins
Crappy Assassins Creed story. But at the end it was nice to see the end of such a boring story. Odyssey/Valhalla super unnecessary. Basim got wasted on a viking story instead of a proper story set in the time

Valhalla did NOT end fast enough for me. I often quoted a line from Shawn way back in AC2. About this game being too big like the character described Abstergo.
This game is a chore. Everytime I see it in the dashboard and think of playing it, I get this sense of "ok sleeves up and let's get through this mess" which is not something you should be thinking when wanting to play a game.
the crossover event and the armor was cool, as well as saying goodbye to Alfred and refusing to join the templars or the assassins, I just expected at least one or two missions of how evior ended up in America.
So glad that the series is going back to basics with Mirage, and more importantly, back to the assassins Vs the Templars. The last three AC games have been so loosely connected with the games prior that it may as well just have had a different name.
cant explain how happy i am this game is finally gonna be finished with. i loved parts of it but i never in my life wanted to finish a game so bad while also hating playing it so much. this game was way too long and way too tedious, and the dialogue was so unemotional i skipped most of the cutscenes. really hoping mirage is enjoyable
This story was actually decent and engaging until they decided to make basim, essentially into an immortal being possessed by an ancient being from another time, they floated around with this idea in Odyssey with the staff and the secret dad of Alexios/Cassandra. They to an extent did the same thing with Evior I just don’t like that angle just make everyone a normal human who lives and dies and that’s that. Ubisoft is going a little too far with this supernatural aspect of the storyline.
I somewhat agree, but I have enjoyed the mythology related DLCs of Origins, Odyssey, & Valhalla as an old Greek, Egyptian, Norse, etc.. mythology buff. So while more realism would be nice, I’d hate for them to axe that concept

Does Ubisoft really thinks that giving us this kind of crumbs would suddenly make us forget that the rest of the game is nothing like it? I don't understand what's the point of wanting to have fans of the old stuff on life support like this if they don't seem to care with the actual game. Also kind of a dick move to bring Roshan, this I guess important character from the prequel game, to basically spoil that she does in fact survive Mirage. I really hope they don't expect to be relying on her survival to draw some tension in that game because if that's the case then they're fucked.

So, speculation, they used the term seed for a reason. Either Rashim is Altaïr's mom, or more likely, Basim is going to be Altaïr's dad. Either way, Altaïr will be born or at least conceived by the end of Mirage
Altaïr was born on 11 January 1165 in Masyaf, Nizari state, to Umar Ibn-La'Ahad, an Arab Muslim Assassin, and his Christian wife, Maud, who died of complications during childbirth. the wiki so no that theory isn't true
Just found your channel through your new Mirage video and saw this video in your uploads. I had NO idea that when I finished Valhalla that I didn't actually get the true ending??? Now I need to go watch recap videos on what has been going on 😭
When you play AC Valhalla in English language, the title for Eivor is "Wolf-Kissed" of the Raven Clan. But if you play the game in Spanish it's "Wolf-Killer" of the Raven Clan. Which is exactly the opposite xDxD. Anyway, I've enjoyed the game so much that this is also the game that lasted most for me. 520 hours with all the DLCs and Extra content. I love it. Same as I loved the previous titles before this trilogy (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla), like AC 3, Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate... So, it's a win-win for me. Next stop: Mirage.
The amount of missed potential in this game is enough to fill the earth’s oceans two times over. It had some great moments, but overall it’s just bloated with what seems an unfocus on what Ubi wanted to do with it. I do however believe that the potential Mirage promises will be satisfying. All we can do is wait.
For me the best game since the original trilogy.. Bringing back Shaun and Rebecca was a masterstroke in giving a robust, old school modern day. Jesper Kyd returning for the soundtrack truly made a huge difference. Origins and Odyseey had an extremely sparse soundtrack regarding ambient music. The world was varied and Darby McDevitt was on top form with the writing, bringing back many plot points and tie ins to previous games. The side quests were on a different level to the garbage that plagued Odyssey and origins and the whole world had a genuine sense of purpose whilst exploring. Many fans were critical but there are just as many ive experienced who loved the game. onto the next...keep Jesper Kyd on board please...
soundtrack was good, story was -i didnt even finnish it, gameplay was worse than odyssey and origins, parkour is.. yeah its not fun, combat doesnt have any weight to it, it took them 2 years to listen to the community and add hooded combat, they also released the game on steam without achivements, and terrible sound. Its even worse than i thought. DLCS: Definetly not worth the money, definetly not worth your time and definetly will bore you to death. As a viking game? - Mediocre As an AC game? - There are assassins in the game but you dont play as one. Very fun. All in all like a 2/10. At best. Its just a mess and its not even fun to do anything. I enjoyed odyssey, origins a lot more than this dumpster fire. Tell me what you want, but im still excited to see AC japan because shinobis are cool as shit. So i have hope.
This game just finished? I finished exactly 1 year ago and they still added stuff? This is why I don't like Games As Service. Waiting 2 years to finish a SINGLE player game? Also Mirage is around 20 years before Eivor came to England. So I don't get it. Also we didn't see why Eivor came to America and why she died there. Is there any answer somewhere?
I lost some of my progress on this game and I CANNOT force myself to finish this game now, it's SO long but I'm conflicted. I WANT to finish the main story at least before moving onto Odyssey which I also never finished. I don't know if I'm bored or impatient.
Wait how are they gonna pull off AC Mirage? If Basim is in the future; Is Basim Layla's ancestor of are we getting a new protagonist?? Why would Basim want to go through the Animus to relive his past? Maybe he's trying to solve the mystery of Odin? And the Gin that haunts him in the kill sequences are the puzzle pieces? I really don't wanna play Valhalla but now I kinda wanna see what happens to Basim throughout this game
So glad I played like 20 hours and gave up. Fuck this game. I went back and started Unity for the first time, literally everything is better. It even looks better lmao

I stupidly tried streaming this game all the way through and got soooo burnt out by like the 7th session LOL
With the game now FINALLY complete with all content, I may start getting it.
I'm chunk meal pieces, because there's a shit ton of game to this game. It's also expensive AF even discounted with all the content included.
Desmond’s father…. Why did they choose that design

I quite & deleted AC Odyssey after 10 Hrs on my Game Pass. Kudos to you for completing Valhalla!! I still prefer the old AC games against these Grind Fest with little to No story at all.
I love ac Valhalla and ac Odyssey as an Rpg game.
I am actually glad this is over. I traded it in yesterday for credit 😂
@@kevingeorge7927 oh, well darn. Thank you tho!
what happened to games being fully developped without needing an update just so we can have a conclusion to a story mode
Just found your channel through your new Mirage video and saw this video in your uploads. I had NO idea that when I finished Valhalla that I didn't actually get the true ending??? Now I need to go watch recap videos on what has been going on 😭
Imagine they wanted the LAST update of the game, after years to give us a “hood always on” option 😂
Ubisoft is a joke
Everyone crapped on this game so I went back and played the others and Valhalla was infinitely more fun. Loved everything about this game
80 hours to finish just the main story and that bollocks was the best they could do jesus bring back jade raymond
so Aelfred founded the Templars. thanks, dude, appreciate it.
I love this game as not an Assassins Creed game but as just a historical and mythical fantasy game
After the next game launches, we’ll all come back and make videos about how Valhalla wasn’t as bad as we thought it was 😂
“This some assassins creed stuff” said the guy playing assassins creed
520 hours? I don’t know how you kept playing for so long props to you 😂 I got the platinum and finished all the DLC but I only spent 230 hours
They should add a customized hood features like in stealth mission we have hood and masked on and when their is Normal mission we wanted hood off
I’m glad I didn’t play past the France dlc, that honestly seems to be where this game peaked.
Yeah that DLC was good
OMFG ITS GRAYSOM FROM ARCANE IS THE OLD LADY
Well at least i plantinum valhalla as a last goodbye. Sucks that the last chapter is so short.
Yeeeeeeeeees it’s over my suffering has ended I no longer need to buy hundreds of skins for my bird
Truly one of the games of all time
soundtrack was good, story was -i didnt even finnish it, gameplay was worse than odyssey and origins, parkour is.. yeah its not fun, combat doesnt have any weight to it, it took them 2 years to listen to the community and add hooded combat, they also released the game on steam without achivements, and terrible sound. Its even worse than i thought.
DLCS: Definetly not worth the money, definetly not worth your time and definetly will bore you to death.
As a viking game? - Mediocre
As an AC game?
I feel like I'm one of the only people on earth that really enjoyed this game
we’re the last of our kind
William miles is using Basim's blood in Animus in valhalla
@@Przemo9050 ohhh! That's why William was speaking at the start of Mirageee
Soooo... In AC lore, anyone with multiple personalities has an isuu stuck in their head?
So glad I played like 20 hours and gave up. Fuck this game.
I went back and started Unity for the first time, literally everything is better. It even looks better lmao
You sound like Borat while doing the Viking voice
I never got that Final Goodbye quest but got The Cuckoo quest
