I feel like this is what the fight would have looked like in universe without the restrictions of it being a platformer game since Magalor was granted omnipotency.
It just dawned on me that for everyone that isn’t Kirby himself the final bosses are immensely powerful to an insurmountable degree, so this right here must be pretty close to how meta-knight feels figthing these guys.
But using that logic, Meta Knight would still be incredibly powerful. He beat Galacta Knight in Kirby superstar who is supposedly the strongest warrior in the galaxy, and gameplay wise that fight was super easy.
@@ADAJ342 I mean Kirby isn't that powerful in comparison. 90% of the time he needs a Final Weapon, and in cases like Void his friends are just as capable of dealing damage. The guy isn't really a literal demigod - just an incarnation of Void, I think. But Kirby lore is pretty abstract to begin with so who knows?

Aside from Magalor, I like the fact that meta knight is actually wearing his cape during it all. I wish this were his default look instead of the wings out look in most modern kirby games
@@sptflcrw8583 He often does wear his cape in like cutscenes and promotional renders, but during gameplay Meta Knight always has his wings out regardless of if he's flying or not. At least in the modern Kirby games like RTDL, Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot and Star allies that is
the cape is something that's more of a smash thing but i get the appeal of having metaknight having his cape, it's not really something you notice until it's put there.
I love how all of the other super ability attacks are high speed, and then there’s the flare beam attack that’s moving at normal speed. Oh yeah and also that one random portal on the left that was lingering for half the fight. I was expecting it to randomly go off after a large delay lmao.
I wish they made Kirby final bosses this incomprehensible to beat at first glance. Although the Void fight was the closest we've ever gotten to pure chaos, I'd prefer it be kicked up to 11 a little more. Maybe if we ever face the true originator of the butterfly, we could see it for ourselves
Honestly when I was a kid the difficulty of the true arenas didnt steer me away. I was 7 when i played the true Arena in Super Star Ultra and when I died repeatedly to Marx i honestly loved it. I eventually beat that true arena and i gotta say a challenge isn’t a negative thing. That’s why i was so glad when Forgotten land actually had a difficulty option cause kids arent the only demographic for Kirby.
