BR mention maharaja he couldn't connect what was he smoking, one of nithilan best screen play after 1st movie seems BR needs to watch 3-4 times of that movies 😅😅
Not bro. Malayalam cinema is more like offbeat movies. Not everyone's (non malayalis )cup of tea. And non malayalis love to watch Malayalam movies in OTTs but not in theatres. Bcoz Malayalam movies won't make any difference watching in theatre or OTT. And an cringe movie in other languages offers way more theatre experience than a Malayalam film. I skipped Guruvayur Ambalanadayil in theatre but I'm going to watch it tonight & I'm really excited for that. I think people like BR & Me exist.
Totally agree! As an international viewer my family has shifted to Malayan movies beyond the language barrier. It is unbelievable that Tamil cinema producing cookie cutter movies. If this trend is encouraged they will lose the current generation viewers as in my family as the grown up kids can’t relate to the Masala , cringe and violence of one guy killing hundreds of people. Kerala movies are relevant and entertaining, thought provoking. BR’s reviews are getting outdated and not relevant. His interviews are good. Understanding the pulse of the people is important. Blue sattai is controversial but he’s unfiltered spot on and unbiased. He’s not here to please the big guns in the industry.
@@UshaSeruwam Shifted to Malayalam movies in OTT? I bet you can't watch at least 5 Malayalam movies in theatres in a year. Especially if you've watched Tamil r Telugu movies in theatres.
K.Balachander made ek tuje keliye. As a lay person who loves good cinema what can one do to get good movies in Tamil especially?
