@1:03:37 one of the good moments in the interview where vignesh sivan breaks down how big the scale was for soorarai pottru, by comparing about making a story around a car and how difficult it is to make it to assemble back to position for reshoots where she managed to do that with flights. The sudden change in the volume of the speech he brings to elevate the emotion of the scale just adds the flavour.

I feel "Tamil audience" are giving more importance to the directors. If you look at the views of previous round table discussion they touched million views easily. This video in 1 day has reached 600k views n counting. But, In other movie industries including Bollywood (within India), the round table discussion of directors has very less views. In most interview videos of bollywood directors has very less views than tamil directors interview videos though they have a larger audience. I always feel the real hero of a movie is the writer and director. It turns out to be a same guy in Tamil industry but the tamil audience praise them. When I was talking to my north indian friends, they watch movies without knowing the directors. For Tamil audience, they do see the director's name.I feel it's not something which has happened recently. Right frm Sridhar sir, K.B sir times, tamil audience appreciates directors which I feel is a healthy thing for a cinema industry.

This is where Tamil cinema stands apart as a top-notch industry compared to other industries. Because their films are engaging and give us the utmost superlative theatre experience. Even if it is an art film, they are entertaining and keep engaging compared to any other film industry in India. Even Malayalam films are good, but the content is more of an art film and it is good to get knowledge for people who crave to understand the nuances of cinema. So, Tamil films are excellent films for average Indian sensibility who love art cinema with an engaging screenplay, where as Malayalam cinema is good for people who throng to the cinema for the artistic element of films and is good for OTT content films. So the ultimate winner for theatre experience is Tamil cinema by a large margin in India.👍
