Everyone else dressed up, but the pro knew that you want to be comfortable for 18 hours of dumbass questions.
Their get paid to wear the designer clothes, same as awards shows.
He's isn't sponsored by anyone or simply as you said doesn't care
lol, facts 100%
Tim seems comfortable af
Well, like he said he was the most uncomfortable on set. He'll be damned if he can't be the most comfortable during promotion lol.
@saintniccage2818 he's one of the greatest actors, one of the legends. When you're that old and still in the industry you won't give 2 f
Despite the laughs, Stellan is 100% serious and his portrayal of the Baron was a masterclass of subtle terror.
Yah, i can hear his sarcasm but he had a rough day
Which made the demise of his character all the more disappointing and underwhelming.
@@SCharlesDennicon…that CHARACTER deserved a pathetic finale-its poetic if not cinematic. Raban also. Just an opinion. Cheers.
@@anthonyhughes8026 im pretty sure raban just dies "off screen" in the book iirc, i actually liked that gurney got revenge
@@nanaduck9153Personally I think Raban and Gurney should’ve had a dance-off, but that’s just me I guess
Stellan's Baron was an upgrade from the book. No monologuing and he actually came off as a threat, even from the bathtub.
Absolutely. I know this will get some hate, but the Movie Baron is far far more threatening than Book Baron. In the books the Baron is a coward and gets ridiculed pretty often by his underlings. He is still brutal and smart, but not a evil mastermind.
His end was a little underwhelming though. After all the delaying by Paul... the ending events were rushed.
@@ThomB1031just like killing the Atreides in Part One was an extermination and not a battle. I think in these movies, the fights are won beforehand, with scheming, plans, and tactics. Then we just see the snowball effect of said plans. The books essentially just go: "And then there was a battle." Mohiam even goes, yeah the Emporer is losing earlier in the movie. 😁
@@TCO_404 yes. But even the scheming then, could've been better played out. It was too shallow imo.
@@ThomB1031 haha fair, too each their own. I was personally satisfied with it. Guy who can see the future will steamroll his enemies. 😁
Stellan "I got sick of press events 20 years ago" Skarsgård
I have friends that lives on the same street as Stellan in Stockholm. He's honestly just an ordinary guy who lives in an apartment in the nowadays-artsy but historically working class- area of Stockholm. He greets the neighbors when he takes out the trash. You may meet his sons when you buy candy in the small store next door. Swedes are chill around him and he is - as seen here, not fazed by fame and appearance.
That's exactly how I imagine him to be.
He has that vibe on him when he's not in character.
a real human being
Shows thankfully that he aint nowhere near corrupted by hollywood elitism
It’s a job like any job. The difference is that product is the person and that we see the person as he makes the work.
@@AndyP998 the fact that he lives in "boring" Stockholm and not in decadent Los Angeles probably helps.
Also interesting that the Baron is the total opposite of his real life self and still he portrayed him so well
Stellan looking old is making me feel ancient.
Stellan has always been old.
Yeah but now he seems like he starting to mumble-kind of old
True, I'm slightly worried
He looks middle aged in that King Arthur movie with Keira Knightley :D@@RonPaul42069
@@RonPaul42069my man took on the Red October in his younger days
Stellan doesn't give AF 🤣
Yes, he does. Every has feeling.
@@AnimeBronx I wasn’t referring to his acting lol
Interesting to note not only the reactions and behaviors of all, but also the manner in which each is dressed, particularly Stellan.
a love an actor who isnt vain but still confident in themselves
"Know your lines and don't bump into the furniture". (Laurence Olivier)
I see Stellan is wearing the official Scandinavian regalia outfit. He really overdressed for this one.
Norwegian here. Yup, totally overdressed 😂
Rebecca was ready for some insight... ended up baffled 😭
I like how everyone is mega fashioned out and stellan is just like chillin in his normal house clothes.
Everyone wearing coordinateed hues of black-brown-beige
And Stellan Skarsgard wearing the most Dad shade of blue 💙
Stellan is that cool grandpa that wouldn't normally talk much, but when he did, everyone paid attention
He is all of Sweden's grandpa
He is a great actor. Never seen a role of his I was not convinced by him in it.
Comrade Scherbina has been one of his best.
He crushed it in Andor. Elevated the script which was already damn good.
For the love of God watch Chernobyl if you haven't. Masterclass acting by Stellan and Jared Harris.
Their last scene together made me emotional. Jared Harris should've won Best Actor in the Golden Globes too
Yes! Some of the best quality filmmaking I've ever seen. Absolutely top notch production.
He really said, “I’m only working hard so I get time off.”
He has 8 kids, so yeah.
No, he said the suit and makeup was annoying.
Get that bag, Stellan.
He puts in a good performance as Baron Harkonnen. I wouldn't accuse him of phoning it in.
"And uhhhh I did that." LEGEND
Stellan is the new sci-fi superstar, with roles in Dune and Andor.
And the MCU of course
@@AllenKnutson the MCU is more comedy than true sci-fi
Imagine being so gifted (stellan) that you have so many children and nearly all of them inherit that gift , some of the performances I see from his sons man …..🔥🔥
'The Northman' ...
BILL PENNYWISE TO DADDY STELLAN: You'll float, too!
Bro. Amazing 👏
as time passes i hate seeing skarsgard get old. that man has so much talent when it comes to acting.
The best actor in the room is wearing a hoodie and a t-shirt.
Stellan should make a movie with all of his sons who act, it would be fantastic
I just saw an interview where he said that it makes the job too hard, because they can't take each other seriously if they act together. Well, He and Alex somehow managed it in Melancholia. With Gustaf the both of them just couldn't stop laughing.
Yeah, it might be hard for them, but can you imagine a remake of The Lion In Winter with him and his son's? We're far away enough from the Peter O'Toole and Patrick Stewart versions to consider reintroducing it to a new audience
@@BuruIgeru Fuck, I wish Patrick Stewart was in Dune !
butler was absolutely great no doubt but man its wild that they didnt cast any of Stellans sons to play feyd
Now he knows how Vincent Chase felt hanging up in that smoke jumper suit all day!
i LOVE Austin's laugh and smile and I love Rebecca's laugh...so infectious.
im glad you enjoy the laugh of my wife
I feel sorry that you feel that. Have you ever tried getting a life of your own?
I believe it’s Florence’s laughter
Reminds me of George Lucas at these kind of press junkets or conventions.
Always showed up in a plaid shirt and jeans and didn't give a damn. Legend.
Timothee looking like a fucking ferrero rocher lmao xD
Stellan is an icon.
STELLAN IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ACTORS ALIVE TODAY. HIS PERFORMANCE IN DUNE 1 & 2 IS MESMERIZING
I like to imagine Florence Pugh's hidden laugh is actually Denis' laugh since it matches so well.
Agree
They way everyone is listening, paying full attention and has to laugh cause it must be soo true 🤣
Skarsgards are like the family of the talent in acting and attracting and mesmerizing and amazing👏👏👏
Stelan has always been a respectable actor.
Give a good script to Skarsgård, then watch him turn it into legendary.
What an amazing cast.
Little known fact, Stellan Skarsgård actually invented the concept of efficiency.
The best of all of them is the most humble of all of them Stellan ❤
He strolled up to this interview like a G!!!
Amazing cast.
The only one with normal clothes
Stellan ❤
"Hey Everyone! An old man is talking!"
He did great, love his part. He acts like a real pro. Nothing wrong with fast and impactful scenes.
He is a gem and a master actor!
why is Chalamet dressed up like the Chicken Lady?
his stylist wanted to him to grab more attention in any way possible, so he will stay in people's minds for longer, to get more movies and fame in that way?
@@hirdbarding3399 you mean he tried too hard
@@johnjungkook2721 +16 yellow pages rating for tryrharding in celebrity ranked :D
He created a presence where people in the room are afraid and everyone knows he’s the alpha
Like Charles Dance as Lord Tywin his presence changed the room and a glare alone was enough to make men quiver
10/10 performances
Agree! Perfect comparison.
Hilarious- I could not stop laughing- what a lark.
Is there a link for full video?
Skarsgard is, at last, old. Ah well. He remains a fine actor.
The Dune cast seem Great! Like just lovely people ❤
Just love thåt guy.
"Thät" would be more phonetically correct, whereas "thåt" would be pronounced "thot", which he most assuredly is not. 🥸
Timothy really going for that sandworm look
People are not appreciating what he says. It's like 'the good teacher makes himself obsolete' kind of wisdom. When you are GREAT at it, you don't need to speak, you don't need to have a lot of screentime. In fact, the less you speak/appear, can be more effective. At least for a villain.
One of these days I would like to see a random character join the stars for the press rour. Like "harkonnen soldier #5" on the same panel as these stars, off to the side. It would make for some possibly interesting questions.
Alejandro Jodorowsky cómo en el último libro canon
He probobly thinks "WTF are these monkeys wearing?!" xD
My favorite roles of Stellan's growing up were The Hunt For Red October and Good Will Hunting. Thor and Andor delighted me too. But his Baron was so masterful. It's such an easy role to miss or overexagerate. Instead he nailed every nuance of what he set out to do. His baron was utterly horrifying and disgusting in all the right ways.
Everybody else probably spent hours dressing up, Stellan just grabbed the closest piece of clothing available. Legend.
Stellan rules
The famous non filter of older men 😅
dune 2 was amazing movie
Timothy's 'Chalemet's' must be roasting hot in those leather trousers
I love actors like Stellan Skarsgard. He looks like just a regular dude up there with a bunch of perfectly groomed celebs.
Never lets me down. I’ll even watch this clip repeatedly just for Stellan. It’s telling that almost everyone is turned towards him, or really listening and thinking - Rebecca! (Brolin, kind of hidden, but seems a little been there, done that, but haven’t got Stellan’s t-shirt)
Timo's outfit.... Lets just say the Baron Harkonnen in the Books (not the watered down Villeneuve version) would be VERY interested in him. xD
Mode Harrison Ford has been selected hahah
full version?
Where’s the full video
I love how Stellan is just being an average swede❤
Timothy my boy looking straight up chicken out here
I thought there was a part 1 of these clips, but it's the name of the movie haha.
They did him dirty in the second movie
0:24 rebecca: this guy...
I love older actors just stop giving a fuck and say the truth, Brian Cox, Gary Oldman, and now the Skarsgard patriarch.
where is this full cast interview?
One of my fave parts was when he was on the ground on the stairs and he saw the throne. It was like he was crawling to get to it. Lmao. So pathetic and a wretched creature.
Hey Stellan, thanks for dressing up 😂
That outfit. Jaysus.
Timmy wearing scales like a fish
rebeccaaaaaa
DUNE, the beautiful people exposition.
Sandworm scale shirt
It s Beautiful
Florence laughed like an drunk aunt.
😂 Yo creo que es su mejor papel y el dice que no se esforzaba 😂
Rebecca Ferguson acts like Stellan is really her father.
Well they are both Swedish 😄
Where’s this full interview ?
been watching him since pirates of the caribbean 😭
She is the only one not looking back. Have we found him?
Full interview link pls?
What is chalamet wearing? He looks like a flightless bird.
Some dry european humour in the glamourous hollywood setting is refreshing
😎.
Let's dress up but not tell Stellan. He's still in the bathtub.

Who is more terrifying: Pennywise or the Baron?
Timotee's outfit looks crazy...when you have fame, wearing weird shit is definitely the thing.
To be fair, this is him indeed. I first saw him in Ronin back in the 90's. Man of few words, getting shit done. It feels weird to me when I see him in funny roles (Marvel).
Apparently Timothee Chalamet borrowed his mother’s clothes for the interview.
