Congrats to Daniel and Jeff, enjoy the music.
Congrats winners and thanks again Chris for the offering and chance to win!
You bet.
Love the South Park shout out... Classic!!😂😂
It's always resonated with me.
Jeff and Daniel are honored in this giveaway.
Exciting contest! You've got a new fan here, Chris.
Welcome aboard!
All reissues, all records are "sourced" fro9m the original tapes somewhere down the line, and yes, a digital step in a previously analog recording will change the sound without question.
Awesome! Thank you!
You're welcome!
Great episode Chris.
Rod
Thank you.
300 for SN on vinyl is fantastic.
Great video!!!
Glad you liked it.
I had forgotten the South Park Stevie Nicks.. thanks for reminding me.
Congrats to the winners.
For the Hegel, if you're going to review it (it was hinted), could you try two things:
1. use a cd that's know for it's poor sound/mastering
2. compare the Hegel to a generic or middle of the line cd player (or even a dvd player)
Just to see (or hear) if the differences are truly worth the asking price. That would be very interesting I think.
This is just an idea, feel free to dismiss it if you don't want to do it.
Those are things I definitely had in mind.
Not too sure why one would go for the MOFI Seven Steps to Heaven when the Analog Productions is available for $20 cheaper...
Because the AP version is a standard 180 gram vinyl and the Mofi is their Supervinyl.
@@thevinylattack Regardless, you can get an all analog copy for $40 mastered by RKS, and not manufactured by a company riddled with controversy. I'm aware that it's "super vinyl".
@@ryanz4772 I'm sure you can get an all-analog copy for 5 bucks if you look hard enough. Some people prefer the Mofi vinyl. Others prefer CDs. Some people collect stamps. I'm just here delivering the news.
Awww!
I didn't win the Alice Cooper album.
I'm un-subscribing 😂
I enjoy your knowledge and information, thanks👍
I actually lose s few subs after every contest. Some turds only show up for the free lunch.
I didn't either, but if I had I'd have messaged to ask if he really wanted the cost of posting them to England! LOL
It will be interesting to see if the Stevie Nicks set really IS limited to 3000 copies (is that worldwide????).
Queen's Studio Collection boxset was promoted as being limited too - until they re-released it a couple of years later and then again 2 years ago....
I don't have any reason to doubt Rhino, but I suppose only time will tell.
Why are you praising mofi digital pressings now. I swear three months ago you told the truth about mofis decade of deceit 🤔
I'm not "praising" anything. My anger with Mofi was their deception, not the product. That still stands. The records themselves sound excellent (although I still think they're charging too much).
