Killer is my favorite Alice Cooper album and my first concert was Alice Cooper at the Montreal Forum on December 27, 1973 with ZZ Top opening, no less! What a show!
Thate the BDB Holiday Tour! Dec 16th, 1973 at the Norfolk Scope...had a chance to go & passed because I didn't want mom taking me/picking me up. I'm an idiot!!! BTW, Dec 13th was the riot in Toledo. 😊
Saw that tour in Buffalo I believe it was Dec 31st. Great show. Kind of odd but cool the tours that went out in the 70s. Saw Sabbath Purple Tull Cooper Genesis all in early to mid 70s.
Schools Out was the first record I heard at 8 years old, the first piece of vinyl (my Dad's) that I handled, the first time that I used a turntable (my Dad's Linton) and the reason that now, at 51 years old, I am still hooked on vinyl... Just love the album to bits...
Great video! I bought the Friday Music reissue of School’s Out. The panties were paper and very uncomfortable to wear. Lol. Might need to pick up Killer. Love that album!
I bought the original LP in August 1972...about 10 minutes after my older, hipper cousin told me Alice Cooper was not a female Folk singer. My LP, currently framed in my music room, has the pink panties. A crazy friend down the block had the blue pair...which he tried on & promptly ripped. It was the early '70s.
You, my friend, are a walking, breathing example of honesty and integrity. No hate or bashing, just "It ain't for me". 👍 Respect. I, on the other hand, am a fan of Alice so I'm in the hat for both please... Killer... School's Out Thanks, Chris!
School's Out. Would love this and appreciate your offer. Loved the Alice Cooper Group since I heard Eighteen on CKLW. when I was a kid. Great channel, thank you.
I saw Alice Cooper's Killer show and the School's Out show also (1971-1972)The original Killer poster hung on my bedroom wall for years! About these new releases: Not crazy about "alternate studio versions" and already knew the live versions from a bootleg (only, the sound is better on the new release) I remember that they played only a few of from the School's Out album while on tour (saw the show on Sept.4).They started with Public animal #9 and also played Gutter Cats VS the Jets (before "Killer") and School's Out (at the end)... Now the live "School's Out" album only has "School's Out" from the album, WTF? They could have put a later live show (like July or August) in which they play at least 3 songs (incl.Public Animal and Gutter Cats) otherwise it's the same show as the live Killer album! How many times you wanna listen to the same songs over again?...Not impressed
School's Out - Thanks, Chris, for the contest and the reviews. Tough choice but I have to go with School's Out since I have an OG Killer, missing the calendar - somebody else must've enjoyed it on their wall.
SCHOOL'S OUT! Thanks for this great video and a chance to win the vinyl. Very informative. Willing to help out with shipping costs to Canada! BIG Alice Cooper fan in Montreal. Cheers!
Thanks for the review of KILLER and SCHOOL'S OUT.. I am a big Alice Cooper fan, but do not have any of his records since I only recently started getting into vinyl and only have a limited collection. Great job, keep up the reviews, I love them!
Thank you so much for making this video, I was wondering about both these releases. I wish they would make it clear what their source was for plating them. Anyway, you’re amazing as always! We love your videos! KILLER
Other than it being the 50th anniversary remaster, I don't think there's much to say. It's not a one step or high end pressing, so you're looking at a digital source on standard vinyl. It sounds good though.
School's Out - Thanks so much for this very honest review, it's a rarity for sure, especially if they're sent to you for reviewing. I enjoyed this very much.
Hey Chris, always love your videos and your honesty. I have the same polorizing opinion of The Beatles and the Stones, great musicians that did a lot for the industry, just not my brand of vodka. Killer or School's Out would be great to have.
School's Out! I bought this lp when I was in the 10th grade, and really related to it as I hated school. Over the years I wore it out, and replaced it with the CD. I would love to have this deluxe edition, and the memories! Thanks, great review!
Thank you for this video! Killer is one of my two favorite AC albums, I've had it on vinyl, cassette, and CD over the years. Whether I win the giveaway or not, I'm gonna have to pick up this remaster and your review is a huge part of that. Cheers!
Love Alice, and I’m really excited for these releases. That being said, I do agree that the price point is a bit steep for these. I’ll be hanging around Amazon like a creep waiting for these to drop in price.
Awesome video review, my friend! I'm a fellow Michigander...Alice is certainly Detroit Royalty. I just subscribed and will be checking out your previous videos. (Great call on the Pantera box set, I already preordered that one!) * *KILLER
Awesome video and giveaway opportunity!! SCHOOL'S OUT ....I've ordered both of these and it was $176US all up to get to Australia, but I'd love a copy to give to my dad. Cheers!!
KILLER Everything from Love It To Death through Muscle Of Love has been not only remastered but remixed, nearly 10 years ago and they all sound incredible (finally). Great review, thanks!
Where are those available? Billion dollar babies was remaster in CD and DVD-AUDIO many years ago. I've never seen any true remastered versions of Love it to death, Killer or Schools out. Until these two. Killer and Schools out. Hopefully Andy Pearce didn't remaster these. If he did, guranteed to sound worst. Quiet and thin.
KILLER! I love both albums and have seen Alice many times over the decades starting in the 70's all the way up to this past year seeing him with my adult kids, who love him as well. I wonder why? ; ) Love both albums, so I'd love to get either. Thanks for the great review and your generosity.
I already have the original pressing of "Schools Out", with the panties, and a second of "Killer," that and "Billion Dollar Babies” are my two AC favorites. Curious on how these two sound.
Yes, I would be interested in either Schools Out or Killer album. Love your videos, you talk about equipment that I have not heard others talk about. 15:35
Killer - I've never heard this one. I bought the previous Schools Out version you mention in the video. I've got tickets 9/2/23 to see Filter, Ministry, Alice Cooper, and Rob Zombie in Des Moines IA.
KILLER!!! (Good thing there is context or this could really be insulting to you). Anyway, would love to add either SCHOOL'S OUT or KILLER to my LP collection. Thanks for the great content, and glad to have you back after your account was hijacked.
Hi again Chris. Bit surprised, I just watched Phil Aston on Now Spinning Magazine opening his copies of these two and they were both in polylined sleeves?!? So Warner/Rhino treat US and European customers to various forms of attention in this regard? That seems odd?
Both Killer and School’s Out are some of my favorite albums. Listened to my Dad’s vinyls, got the CDs. Thinking about picking these up if I don’t win the giveaway
Very hard to pick because I love them both, but I guess the panties are the deciding factor: School's Out! I've had an original copy of that since high school that was missing the panties, so I've had to go without panties all that time.
Ho I'm going for both of them Friday 9 June, Killer and School's Out. I know they are expensive over here in The Netherlands but Alice ...... one of my heroes back in the 70ties. My first vinyls were Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies and David Bowie Aladdin Sane. Bought them both on the same day in 1973, being 11 years old. Man ..... I was proud. So I'll go for both of them. Take care.
SCHOOLS OUT! My high school English teacher was Vince's track coach. I was only a few years behind him. He is still very active with youth and music here in Phoenix.
THIS CONTEST HAS ENDED.
I still have my original albums from 71, 72.
I was fortunate to see Alice on the Killer tour and they put on a great concert.
Great review. Killer is one of the best rock records ever! Very nice of you to do this!
Killer is my favorite Alice Cooper album and my first concert was Alice Cooper at the Montreal Forum on December 27, 1973 with ZZ Top opening, no less! What a show!

I was around 11-12 at the time wishing I was older so I could go to one of these shows during this era.
Oh well.
Love "Killer” as well.
Schools Out was the first record I heard at 8 years old, the first piece of vinyl (my Dad's) that I handled, the first time that I used a turntable (my Dad's Linton) and the reason that now, at 51 years old, I am still hooked on vinyl... Just love the album to bits...

Yeah, paper cuts like that are just a pain.

I have my moments. It is only one album per person though, so pick your fave and let me know. I'll get you entered.
@@thevinylattack Gotcha… School’s Out please.
@@kenjarrell4123 No worries. I wasn't very clear with the instructions on that part.
Don’t have any Alice on vinyl as of yet…Schools Out would be a great start, thanks!
Loved the honesty! School's Out for me!
Always enjoy your videos! I would appreciate having School's Out. Thanks!
School's out was such an iconic album. I would hear it played all the time as a kid.
Thanks for showing School’s Out and Killer on your channel! It would be great to win either one.
Schools Out, don’t have that on vinyl yet. Thanks for the chance to win this and for a great channel!
You're welcome.
Both Killer and School's Out are on my favorite album list.
Great reviews, as always. Not everyone on RUclips is as honest as you are. I would love School's Out. If I don't win it, I'll have to buy it.
It's not much use to anyone if I'm not explaining what I see.
Hey Chris, here I go again... School's Out is a classic. Would ❤ to have it on vinyl.
Both of those albums were such a part of my young life back in the day.
School's Out. Would love this and appreciate your offer. Loved the Alice Cooper Group since I heard Eighteen on CKLW. when I was a kid. Great channel, thank you.
KILLER! A truly underrated album.

School's Out - one of my all time favourites and triggers my nostalgia remembering after school parties back in the 70's 🙂
It would be Killer if I could win that record since School’s Out! Thanks for the great content as always Chris
Great video. I just realized that every Discogs listing ten to fifteen years now will say "light warp, does not affect play" lol
I'm not surprised. It makes me that much happier that I have a tool to flatten records now. Utterly indispensable.
School's Out - Thanks so much for this very honest review, it's a rarity for sure, especially if they're sent to you for reviewing. I enjoyed this very much.
I do my best to keep all of my reviews as upfront and honest as I can.
School's Out - Thanks for the opportunity!
No problem.
Schools Out is probably my favorite but KILLER is certainly very underrated! Thanks for all your generosity on your channel👍
I'm happy to do it.
Great video. Would have liked some info on how good the live discs sounded. KILLER.
Wow, another give away! Awesome! Yes and yes, 'Killer' and 'School's Out'. Excellent review, as usual. Thank you, sir.
If companies keep sending review samples, I'll keep handing them out.
I would love to have that School's out in my collection...Thanks for the great review of these records and opportunity to win one of them!
Good luck!
School's Out. Good review, agree with the paper sleeve issue. Antistatic ploy sleeves should be standard.
Hey Chris, always love your videos and your honesty. I have the same polorizing opinion of The Beatles and the Stones, great musicians that did a lot for the industry, just not my brand of vodka. Killer or School's Out would be great to have.
It's perfectly fine to not like popular media. It shows character when you recognize the influence even if you don't like it though.
Going to pull out my originals of both Killer and School’s Out tomorrow and take a listen.
Really enjoy the channel - I would be interested in Schools Out. BTW I am originally from Detroit - now in Chicago.
Traitor.
School's Out was a long time ago for me. Please send me back to school thanks another great video.

SCHOOL'S OUT
You can tell him. I'm sure he won't care in the least. I've heard he's a very nice guy (contrary to the song title).
Two of my favorite albums! Great shirt too! Pistol Pete! They also did my favorite cover Ace Of Spades

Class act. I’m voting for Killer. I found Alice in the mid 90’s and have enjoyed his music over the years. Keep up the good work. 🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼
