Pretty good runs from the G8 considering how low HP they make on a stock cam. I would assume a FBO and cammed G8 would be a different story. Good runs nonetheless, those Stingers are no joke.

Just a heads up the G8 tops out at 140 mph. So up top it will not catch up. I did the same thing. Was catching up on a 70mph roll the stinger got the hit and the G8!just stopped gaining. Didn’t realize till I watched the footage.
Now if you supercharge the G8 it will be very fast I had one that wasn't supercharged it was stock but my Stinger is no joke straight off the factory floor
why do you need to supercharge the G8? The G8 has eight cylinders vs 6 and nearly twice the engine capacity. I suppose the G8 just isn't up to taking on a KIA of all things being stock vs stock. A little embarrassing if you ask me. That's why I bought a Stinger, it's better than the G8, end of story.
@@tevinmullins3525 That's a silly comment. Not only does it have two more cylinders, but also has nearly twice the engine capacity. So at the end of the day, the Stinger is a far better vehicle just from a design and engineering decision point of view. Better buy a Stinger hey.
@marcolucchini8173 it has the superior transmission and idk what's wrong with his g8 because i have a video of the same cars and the same mods. But yes its a new car and the majority of all the new cars are fast compared to the old ones.
@@tevinmullins3525 probably nothing wrong with the g8 trans. The g8 is the same as the Holden Commodore here in Australia. These two cars were tested back to back, and the Stinger was always that little bit better at just about all tests.
