@@anorsegoddess9797 there are so many incredible engines out there. The 3800 isn’t the only one

Original owner of a 2008 GT here...This G8 def lives outside correct? The interior on any car will degrade after 15 years out in the elements. Even though my G8 has spent it's entire 88k mile / 15 year life parked in a garage , I did have to replace the headliner last year as the Florida humidity finally caught up with the glue but to date that's it. She still sports all the original interior parts. Now to be fair mine stopped being a daily driver in 2014 and only has had 8500 miles put on it since then. Great car for sure. Great review. Glad you got to drive one. Pontiac was on the right track but unfortunately the economy in 08/09 wasn't.

Nah bruh I have a 2008 G8 kept outside, a friend of mines had a 2004 GTO garage kept and the interior failed the same way. My 2008 honda accord live outside in Texas heat since I bought it and had Zero issues on the inside. Love the G8 but interiors was definitely GMs weakness in the early 2000s.

Im late to this video but unfortunately this car has been through it. Its been neglected pretty badly. If i can, the rear light bulb isnt burning out, its the prongs on the bulb holder which are pushed too far back from people always changing bulbs. Tweezers to pull the prongs back out a bit and problem fixed. We had one when new and 3 more following after that, selling the last one just last year. Honestly one of the best cars we've produced here in Australia. Unfortunately wasnt what buyers wanted through out the 2010s as everyone sadly was after a small economical car or a big suv. Yeah conplete different ends of the spectrum. Not perfect, but if you find one thats been kept well, honestly nothing like it

Solid review, but you should rework your thumbnail style. People just shrug you of as if you were some MRC wannabe, while you have some pretty unique and worthwhile content

Problem is that I absolutely hate making "youtuber" thumbnails, and this is just a hobby of mine where I get to nerd out about cars every 2 weeks.
All I want is the cars to be the stars, not me.

@@WookieDrivesI feel ya, but I‘ve had the same approach to youtube, and throughout the 6ish years I was active, I only imitated others, which resulted in me getting absolutely nowhere, aside from a low-effort video I threw together in 20 minutes. In hindsight, you might have completely different goals that the ones I was fishing for. You do you, of course. To be honest, I wouldn’t come up with a better thumbnail idea either, looks good enough and does its job
