Thank you for the awesome training videos, my 10 year old son has been playing ball since he was three, he has played recreation baseball ever since, he wanted to play on a comp league and has busted his ass and done all of these drills. So my boy not only made the Comp team, he is the captain and leader of the team. I am so proud of all his practice, it has paid off. Keep up the good content, you are awesome and we owe has success to these awesome training videos.
The wall drill is super basic, super accessible by anyone, and super fun. This will definitely be one I add to my sons drills for practice. Thank you for this content!
Hey John, good luck with all you do... My daughter and I do most of these drills already. The one drill we will incorporate will be the pancake drills for sure. Matt Atonelli is great rep for the brand and really know his stuff. Thanks for the video's. Thanks, Gman
Thanks coach. This video couldn't have come at a better time for my 12 year old son. Double header today with his travel team. He wants to use some of these drills for warm ups. Thank you.
I appreciate the training vids I'm going into 7th grade and am planning to do athletics (baseball is one of the sports I will play 1/3). I have only played 1 year of tee-ball when I was very young around 3 years old so I'm a beginner thank you for helping make SS.
I’m working on playing either third base or shortstop in softball I am assuming that all of these drills apply in softball as well if not do you have any tips that would be helpful thank you
Thank Coach! Since we do not have a coach, your videos do help us a lot. I have a question, i am having a rough time increasing my spin rate, which makes my ball drop too early. Can you share some tips or drills solving this?
The best drill I have seen for hands and deflecting was the Jim Steinwart Plywood Glove( 6"x6"x.5"plywood piece with a strap stapled to one side to put your hand in). Nothing will force you to use soft hands better than having a ball to face/chest or having your hand buzzed. Not for the faint of heart though.
Hey new to your channel and I'm totally hook on your content. I have a son who has lost his confidence due to his lack of playing time in high school baseball. He is in his junior year and he feels he's being over looked due to his size(height). He's always love the game and works so hard at his craft away from the field. I know once I show him your channel he'll want to get out there and work on these drills for sure. I truly believe he is a outstanding baseball player and works hard on and off the field but I struggle with trying to build his confidence up to where he feels he is an asset to his team. You have any advice how I can get that fire back in his heart to show he's worthy of more playing time and deserves more opportunities at the game??? I appreciate it.
My highschool does Pancake glove drills at the baseball camp. I do the backhand with this old t-ball glove i have. All of these drills are really good. The dee gordon eye closed mini wiffle ball thing is why Javy Baez has a really good feel for where the base, ball, and where runners are. He can multi task by catching the ball, while also only have one eye on the ball and the other on the base. It gives you the best feel for a situation where you have to catch and turn and throw quick. Idk why my grammar sucks right now but im like asleep sorry
First, thanks for the variety. I believe that if its not broke don't. I also know this philosophy does not work on routine drills in this sport. I will us my adult daughter to tryout the 3-Cone Drill, back-hand drill and square conditioning drill at the end.
My thoughts on it would be that on those hard hits, one hop groundballs types, sometimes it will be better to turn your body at a 45 degree angle. I feel like it creates space for your glove to move. If you try to stay in front of those balls, your torso might get in the way of the ball and the glove as you try to create space and gain a split second as you drop step.
First time I have seen your videos. Well done. I subscribed and dont often. Question: Do you teach all these drills at your camps or a select few and which ones?
Hey man I just sub, but i have a question how hard did you work and how long everyday, because I want to become a professional ball player.( I am freshman in highschool)
I don’t really like the first drill. I feel like it makes ur wrist flexible and loose when coming through a short hop you need that wrist hinged. And it’s making a habit to glove flip the ball into your hand I feel like.
If only you could make a video. I mean atleast a 5 min video. Dedicated to your thoughts, grips, experiences with the knuckleball. I know you've shown us the grip before. But there's nobody on 🌍 to teach us. There's only 15 humans who can throw the knuckle.
Don’t be a scrub, smash that sub!👉 ruclips.net/user/yougopro
YouGoProBaseball you should do this for the other 4 tools of baseball and pitching
Nick Remo Good idea! I will!
You were at my Baseball Camp in Germany 😄
Yeah I paid for the mini finger gloves over 2 months ago and never received them. Sent a message to your website and have yet to hear anything back.
If you want to go pro...don’t listen to this joker. If he were any good he’d be pro himself.
As a single mom that has a son starting high school baseball, i appreciate being able to find these videos to work together here at home.

@@YouGoPro thanks coach. Will keep following your videos. Got you on FB and IG as well.
I like the 'A' drill. It's visual. The players can see where they placing their feet when fielding.
My teammates NEED to learn this stuff so thank you
Please do a drill on improving off balance throws with emphasis on improving the strength of the throw on charging grounders.
Thanks. I remember my dad drilling me with these practices , when I was 11yrs old. Now my son is 9. He will make the traveling team.

"mini-glove???" no doubt extremely difficult and great tool but hilarious at the same time! WIN WIN.
Really good drills here. Thanks.
Great job John. Thanks for sharing.

Kevin McGrath That’s awesome! I gotta check this out. Is there a video somewhere of this?
Not yet Coach but I will try to get something made up soon.
Great video coach....Thank You!!!!!!
Excellent Video! I've used some of them from the past but haven't seen them all before. Love it!
I just use number 12 this past weekend with my players
Great video, can you answer my question
What exercises can you do to train to have a quick explosive arm? Thx!
Nick Remo Expolisive? you mean strong or what do you mean
_ F I mean I want to know what exercises to do to train for a fast throwing arm
Nick Remo just lift weights 😂
@@finnm1370 more than just weights, for infield. There is also body positioning and being able to have quick release
Doesnt the pancake drill (1st one) promote keeping your palm up when it'd be ideal to keep your fingertips straight up and down when fielding a ball?

Where would I go to get the mini glove and pancake glove (for a lefty)

Back in the 80s our coach had a small piece of plywood that we did this drill with.
Good stuff!
nice ideas for training, thanks
awesome video. just wondering about the "A" drill. i thought it was always best to teach the kids to try and keep their body in front of the ball?

@yougoprobaseball or John Madden how did you get your leg muscles so defined??
TSM_NES TSM_NES by not skipping leg day 😉
YouGoProBaseball I love leg day but not upper body 🤷🏿♂️
Great drillz
Nice! I will try these
Great videos

How long is shipping usually for the gloves
2 days processing 3-7 days shipping (depending on where you live)
Hey man I just sub, but i have a question how hard did you work and how long everyday, because I want to become a professional ball player.( I am freshman in highschool)
Jazzy Cactuz very hard. I was consumed with it. Obsessed.

all ages? lol
Those gloves are overpriced
This does not work at all
Are you doing them right don't just assume they don't work he is taking his time to give players drills to get better.
Drills work only if the player works. Maybe that's your problem?
