- Snehal talks about how we need to have our own methodology to look at Indian art leaving behind the formal education since our philosophies and ways of life are unique and reflect our Indian broad way of looking at the world. She touches upon the ideas that are called modern but have existed in our culture since ancient times. A Freelance art writer, an Art critic and Art historian, Snehal Tambulwadikar-Khedkar, is currently working as a Visiting Faculty of Art History and Aesthetics at J. J. School of Arts, Mumbai, and as a Program Coordinator at Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation, Mumbai.
Presently in India, Snehal is working on a project named Heritage Tours with the objective to create awareness and respect for the heritage of arts and culture in different parts of the country. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
