Helping a boater at the dock is like doing wallpaper with your wife: it starts out all smiles, and ends with words exchanged that you'd *never* say in front of your mom.

I learn and get enjoyment from your commentary. I have always enjoyed riding my bike to boat ramps and watching people launch. No drama from the skilled captains, chaos from the captains with more money than knowledge. The credit card captains are oblivious to the time they waste of others trying to launch. It is a victory if they get the boat in the water with the drain plug in.

Bro, where have you been, this was my first summer with our fams 1st boat, its a new to me old 93 Larson, Grandpa Lasrson lol, your videos helped me so much, just wanted to say thanks, my little whippet snapper loves watching too,we watch almost every night, one or 2 vids. Good bless you and your family. Keep HELPING, US NEW BOTERS with all the gold nuggets from when the trailer is too deep, to remembering to put up your prop 😂 boy did I mess that one up this summer😢 only once tho😅

Hello CCC: I hope everything is OK cause you were definitely Missed as you always brighten our day. It's a good thing that all of these 3 vessels weren't larger or else they would have been all on the dock or in the parking lot without a trailer. Your weather was absolutely terrific & & the boating traffic was very light. Thanks again CCC, God Bless, & please stay safe 🙏, TMP from N.J.

A whole dissertation could probably be written about helping (or not helping) fellow boaters, especially while docking. I'm a big believer in DO NOT TOUCH unless explicit permission is given with the exception of some kind of life-threatening situation.
This should probably be included in state safety courses.

Never jump off a boat with a line unless you know that your line is untangled & ready to go because after you have left the boat is never the time to find out your line is in a mess.
A good boating standard is to have your lines organised & ready as soon as you are underway.

At 3:45, you thought that trailer was in perfect position. I’d dis agree.
Where they moved it to was correct.
I typically like to see just the tips of the guide bunks out of water.
    But that’s just me. 🤷‍♀️
    Great vids !!!

The first thing that any captain should do is appoint/train a First Mate. Pontoons have cleats on all four corners. Use them!. Absolutely no excuse to have a line across the motor control rigging. None.

I miss when they're used to being more beaches than human, just pull up along the shore anywhere and get your boat in the water or out of the water. Born and raised in Florida 45 years now in it's just so dramatic to me that there's just no way to do it. Anymore, except for these stupid boat right. They destroyed all the coffee osaway's that were built perfectly, and then all along the treasure coast, they put up the sea walls where you can't do anything anymore. It's just crazy it's retarded Victor down all The Australian pine trees that used to help us, you had shade it held the sand in place. It just sucks thank you so much government for nothing
