    I think calling the section "Internal gasket design" not accurate. It's not a gasket, just a silicone pcb foam. The KB is not gasket mounted so might be misleading to name it that way as it suggests it's gasket mounted when it is a tray mount.

    I think I might be crazy because I legitimately can't feel a difference in game between the hall effect switches on my Wooting and just a normal mechanical keyboard with something like Cherry Speed Silver switches. The only time I feel a difference is when I am messing around with it and intentionally lightly pressing on the keys, in game it's just not natural for me to not bottom the switches out. The ultra low actuation of the hall effect switches are going to cause it to actuate sooner than a normal switch, but I find it imperceptible. Rapid trigger is cool too, but I have to focus on the keyboard to get the most out of it because I normally fully release the key before pressing again and doing so throws my game off. I never see anyone else talk about this, so I must be a very small minority.

    • @Billy_The_Frog
      @Billy_The_Frog 7 месяцев назад

      I believe using the RT does require some practice as well. If you spend enough time trying to use RT to its fullest, it will eventually become muscle memory and you will probably find your normal keyboard sluggish. Latency wise, it really doesnt matter that much unless you can literally feel lag.

    • @kirasmith1147
      @kirasmith1147 4 месяца назад

      It should feel extremely different with low actuation + rapid trigger - if you're not noticing it, you're not playing at a level that your gear matters at all anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it unless you're trying to get better

    Liam, can you explain a bit further what you mean about the board not having rapid trigger? Are you referring to the higher latency at sub-0.4mm settings? I thought the ability to reduce the actuation is what is meant by rapid trigger.
    Also, does this board have dual actuation? I have the Steelseries Apex Pro Mini Wireless, but was considering the Wooting, as I prefer aluminum cases. But getting board components with an alum case is much more expensive.

    • @AimAdapt
      @AimAdapt  7 месяцев назад +5

      This board does have rapid trigger but it does not have continuous rapid trigger. With continuous rapid trigger you can set the auction to 1mm but then set the press and release at .1mm. So every input after you hit the initial 1mm will be all in .1mm there after. with this keyboard if you set the press at 1mm and the release at.1.. you will have to press the key an additional 1mm after each release to activate it

    • @thinkforyourself5672
      @thinkforyourself5672 7 месяцев назад

      The Maya is a very different shape than the Atlantis OG. First decision needs to be do you want an Ergo or Symmetrical? Personally I have huge hands and like the Maya way way more. Even though the OG is bigger, I didn't like the shape at all and sold it. The Gpro is a pretty safe shape. Phenomenal mouse. Bigger hands, I'd say the Gpro is a safer bet. I'm sure you could care less about what I say lol but I do own over 20 mice and have sold like 15 more in the last 2 months. I've pretty much owned every mouse besides these cheap $50 Chinese mice hitting the market lately. I have a bad issue buying mice and pads. What's your favorite mouse you've used so far?

    • @beam4671
      @beam4671 7 месяцев назад

      @@thinkforyourself5672 My favorite mouse is the Lamzu Thorn x Fnatic. It feels really comfortable for me to grip firmly with my index and middle fingers, barely needing my ring and pinky fingers. However, I've only tried three mice so far, all priced under $100. The first one was the Atlantis Mini 4K, but it was too small for my liking as I prefer mice for palm grip and claw grip with more relex. The second one was the ROG Ace Harpe Aim Lab, which I didn't like at all due to its narrowness and very short length, causing discomfort in my hand, so I sold it. Now, I'm looking for a mouse to pair with the Thorn, which has some issues and is being claimed under warranty. After hearing what you said, I'm starting to become interested in the Maya mouse, despite initially planning to wait for an upgraded version in a larger size. However, I might try the Viper Mini first to see if I like this style. As for the mousepad, I only have the Micemod 1st Anniversary SE. I'm also planning to buy the Infinity Mice Shogun as my next mousepad.

      I don't have ATK68, so can't speak with 100% certainty, but I remember someone mentioning that ATK68 is using same board as DrunkDeer, so this keyboard is actually not clone of ATK68 but rather Polar65 clone. And that in my book is a hard pass, Polar65 is one of the worst HE keyboards I've tried (and I've tried Akko MOD-007B HE, DrunkDeer A75, Wooting, Boog75, Redragon M61, Polar65 and this Endgame Gear one - plus I'm waiting for Keychron HE keyboard). While the keyboard itself is fine, it does have this weird half-rapid trigger implementation - rapid trigger works for quick deactuation but it does not work for reactivation. For example if I have initial actuation point set to 2mm and rapid trigger on 0.1mm, I can press the key to 2mm, activate it, then lift 0.1mm, it deactivates and then to reactivate I have to press again by 2mm, pushing activation point almost to the bottom - that's really frustrating if you lifted by mistake. That's something I feel in game and it can be quite frustrating. And unfortunately Endgame Gear KB65HE is exactly the same, so I wouldn't recommend it at all, I'd rather get DrunkDeer or new Lamzu keyboard or even better, pay up for Wooting and be at piece that you have the best there (currently) is when it comes to gaming performance.

      @@jan.tovarnakhow's boog75 compared to the rest in terms of performance?

    • @jan.tovarnak
      @jan.tovarnak 6 месяцев назад

      @@Rasyad95 I can't speak in plain numbers, I don't have the hardware to test actual response times and input delay/lag. That being said, in terms of how it feels I'd place it at the top of what I've tried so far. If I had to choose just one keyboard for gaming performance, I'd go with Wooting. The close seconds would be Boog75 and Akko MOD-007B HE, these are premium feeling keyboards with great performance and all necessary customization. As for performance on budget, I'd go with DrunkDeer and its clones (DrunkDeer A75/G65, VGN ATK68, Lamzu Atlantis Pro). If I was on extremely small budget, even some chinese HE keyboards seem to potentially do the trick, like Redragon M61 or Everglide AE68 (I haven't used those directly in-game but so far I was able to get them setup to my liking and my preliminary testing showed a good promise for their price). And then there is Polar65 and its clones (like KB65HE) - I wouldn't buy those over any of previously mentioned ones (not even chinese ones), for some reason they lack continuous trigger functionality which for me is an important part of what makes HE keyboards worth.
      All in all - if you are after ultimate performance with bleeding edge functionality and don't mind trading off typing feel and premium build, go with Wooting. However, if you want extremely well built keyboards with great HE performance, I can recommend either Akko MOD-007B HE or Boog75.
