  • The KB65HE is the first keyboard from Endgame Gear, a brand which has focused mainly on mice up until this point. This 65% board features hall effect magnetic switches which allow the switch actuation and reset points to be tweaked to your heart's content, and brands like Wooting, Razer and Corsair have all jumped on this feature in recent times. But can Endgame Gear deliver quality with their attempt at a pure gaming keyboard? Read more here: bit.ly/3UGMB1i

Wish Endgame Gear would focus on releasing the products they've already taken money for before releasing new ones. They started taking preorders for the XM2w (not XM2we) over 2 years ago with a promise of release in a couple months. Mouse still hasn't been released and they're sitting on people's money with the last project update being released 17 months ago.

Me neither but sort of makes sense. Was watching a vid about how higher levels of new Tetris had become available due to super fast button tapping techniques. Look like you can do that sort of thing with these types of keyboard.

The harsh and stiff typing experience comes from the tray-mount design of the case, as the assembly is screwed into the bottom case at multiple points. I might experiment with a "force break" kind of mod by using o-rings or something between the screw points and PCB to absorb some of that harshness.

That's definitely a small advantage. Adding an extra layer of customisation in regards to switch actuation and reset points is going to be the big selling point for gamers though (with keyboards anyway)

Have had good experiences with Endgame Gear mouse pads and a mouse. Solid choices.
The keyboard tho doesn't appeal to me as I'm more of a variety/MoBA/mmo/etc. gamer not an FPS Andy. The trigger gimmick isn't for players like me.
Instead I prefer a custom TKL with hotswappable MX style switches, QMK/VIA, easily modded case all the usual sensible things.

Wooting is still better. Best thing about Wooting is you don't have to run any bloatware on your PC to change anything on the keyboard. All done via a browser. More companies should run the software of peripherals like this.
