Thank you! Thi is so good! Grateful for your kindness, professionalism and advice professor! Looking forward to sending you the even better production unit for review!
your product is amazing, even if it ends up not being a viable high performance mouse it will definitly be a product that every hardcore gamer/proplayer should buy to experiment with the differents shapes and sizes, it would be good to have some left handed versions copys of this since left handed player doesnt have many mouses to choose and they are probably using shapes that doesnt fit them, i cant wait to see the final version of this product
this very very unique in a huge amazing way...i do want to try those shark fins right groove. looks like you can print your own parts as well which makes it really interesting from the colors to the actual shapes and grips you can make. also having the latest sensor its a great move for longevity. i'll bite, count me in for the pre order
The Wave shape went through more than 20 iterations before settling down on this shape. On the sensor, it also depends on the supply chain gods. But what we can do on our side for sure is a very good firmware
@@OrbitalWorks_co How realistic would it be that you could change out the PCB for an updated sensor release and still have it function the same? I imagine its not a super high priority to do that since you would probably make design adjustments/iterations in those couple years of sensor generation releases anyway. But I thought it would be pretty cool if you could do that.
Honestly it seems pretty good. I think the part that might have the most flex is the rear shell since there's a pretty decent gap from the main body and the shell. Especially if you add the spacers. But I think because the spacers still have solid contact with the main mouse, the structural integrity is still pretty good for what it is. It will probably be even better in the full release considering these are 3D prints and injection molding would be even tighter in tolerance. Haven't seen anyone complain about it that much which is a really good sign.
Hi Techne! Sorry we didn't send one pre-production unit this time. But long story short, it will be pretty solid, even now it can be quite solid. Although due to the nature of print it can be inconsistent, Fresh's copy comes to mind. The actual production unit will use ABS and molding with much higher precision!
Concept itself is cool, but for mice i cant see myself buying it, the grip that we use on the mouse stays pretty much the same which means that other parts will collect dust and the overpay that comes with this kind of set is losing its added value. What come to 3D priting parts, you can mostly 3D print the whole shell to your liking, which kills this argument as well. I will say thats a pass
My French Bulldog is obsessed with anything plastic. If one of those tiny parts falls on the floor, it's pretty much done for and I may as well kiss it goodbye.
here's the thing though, I feel like if I owned this mouse, every single bad match I have I'd change something out as if it's the mouse that's the problem xD
I always liked the idea of a modular mouse, that's why i pre-ordered the Astrum back than but after that i will never pre-order a mouse again. This mouse seems interesting but i feel like the way it's built it the parts will start to wobble or creak after a while.
Great video and interesting product. I don’t see it being very popular, seems like it’ll be expensive and could probably just get 2-3 high quality mice in different shapes for the same price
We understand it will be niche, but the objective is not to replicate shapes. It's about allowing gamers to experiement on the fly until they come up with a better understanding of what their best grip will be. Also, there are future-proofing plans for it as well!
Well this looks very ugly but the idea and realization are 5/5 for sure. The only question is about creaking and wobbling. P.s. they can improve it by adding modular main buttons to make possible to fully change the shape to an ergo. Would be absolute banger.
Not every company wants to do a 2 year grind when everything is selling well already. Also, this is an enthusiast projects for fellow enthusiasts. We imagine the market will be quite niche!
Really cool concept 👍👍👍I really hope they don't go below 65-70g in weight.. Played below 50g mice for about 3 years now and since i switched to a Vaxee 73g i just realize how badly i f... up my aim over the years..
You can wait for the full review unit to make a decision, but we promise you the build quality will be top-notch, we will control the molding process and material ourselves

an actual forever mouse.
Nooo, you will call up the unholy, unknowable and terrible Log'tech lawyers upon us!
and no subscription needed!
If the sensor and its tuning are any good.

This is really cool! Great vid man 👍
Btw how does the structural integrity feel with parts installed? Are they solid or have some wobble?

Finally, this is the future, I hope there will be more such projects and you will be able to build a mouse by setting parameters for yourself
Thank you for your kind words!
A mouse thats actually worth the price point unlike these other $160 + dollar mice that are releasing
what the ninox astrum was supposed to be 😞
An actual innovation on mouse, especially the spacer for the hump that can also adjust the sensor position👀
Changing the definition of "endgame"
coolest mouse concept I've ever seen
Thank you sir!

Let's see, this is only the first step!
amazing
If we wait and don’t pre order the founders edition what do we miss out on?
MG alloy wheel, exclusive art and our eternal gratitude!
What are the dimensions of the mouse before putting anything on it? Just want to see how small the mouse is
48 x 115 x 35mm
