Testing Hoover Dimension 1000 Canister Vacuum

This was quite the high-end, pricey vacuum in the late 1980s. And no doubt one of the highest rated for carpet cleaning, thanks to its Quadraflex power nozzle (not shown).

Love this machine! Absolutely the best carpet cleaning canister Hoover ever made. I am glad I’m stocked up on brush strips and spare parts for it!

I have a Supremacy canister that works the same way. I tend to use the manual mode on high speed the most. I also love my single speed teal Dimension 1000 and several other Hoovers.

Very interesting automatic motor speed control. It increases speed when the hose is blocked. My Lux Royal D790 does the opposite. Motor speed in it lowers if the hose end is blocked.
