This video was so helpful- I got more out of it than I did from my local sebo dealer unfortunately. I was really torn between the e3 and d4. Despite the indifference of my “salesman”, the maneuverability of the d4 is what really sold me when I saw and tested it in person. The 4 wheels and swiveling hose makes that vacuum. No tipping and easily glides from floor type and over transition strips. The e3 felt quite unstable and I knew it would drive me nuts. I actually preferred the slider suction adjustment on the e3 but hey, can’t win them all. I don’t have 3k sq ft home to clean, but I feel confident it was the right choice for me. Can’t wait to receive my d4 and get to cleaning!

Just got the D4, first impressions are awesome. Can’t believe anyone actually complains about lack of power with this thing. We have very thick carpet and even on the lowest setting it doesn’t bog down.
Going over a large heavy thick pile wool rug was definitely more challenging, but moving it to position 2 cured that.
And you’re right about the noise, I’ve never heard a vacuum as quiet as this thing is for the power it has.
My wife has already decided she wants a Felix to compliment it 😂
Apart from the price I’m not sure what’s not to like about it 🤷🏻‍♂️

just bought a k3 onxy works great so far. We bought a Riccar upright and returned around Christmas. This vacuum is to supplement our central Vac that i got tired of pulliing the 30' hose out and was a pain to get around the house. This is much easier. Only downside seems to be the head doesnt do great on bathroom rugs that are real long.

Read through reddit yesterday, watched this video, went to our local vacuum store to ask some questions in person and get a feel for them (I have some hand pain, 'easy maintenance' is not always easy for me!) and purchased the d4 for the extra capacity and how super space age and cool it looks. ;). But mostly for that extra bag space. Thank you for helping make the decision a more informed one! Our retailer was the first person I've heard of in the industry that actually prefers an upright for her own use.

Bought an E3 for residential cleaning business with the ET-1 head. Current split is probably 80/20 hardwood to carpet with the low pile rugs as well. Do you suggest using the ET-1 with the brushroll off, or would it be worth getting the Premium Parquet Tool and removing the front bristles as I have seen alot of people do? Will the Parquet tool clean the low pile rugs good enough or should I switch back and forth? Or should I stick with the ET-1 head and turn the brush roll off?

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  10 месяцев назад

Kirby's don't have very much suction power. They have an average amount of CFM. You'll probably notice double the performance if you're coming from a Kirby. Especially on carpet cleaning with SEBO since the brush roller stays consistent with not having a rubber belt like Kirby that constantly wears.
As far as CFM goes you're probably going to get similar numbers if not a little bit more with this design. The working vacuum is more than double with this machine to give you an idea.

@@PerformanceReviews well, I had ordered that vacuum before I asked you this question and it came in today, I used it about an hour all over the house.
I have no way of measuring the suction and certainly don't have the feel you do in judging it but to me as the average consumer it seemed pretty decent.
I can definitively say that it is indeed VERY quiet.
The retractable cord is 26' long and retracts slowly.
      It has U-15 ULPA filtration.
      Bags seem nice.
Its small and light at 11 pounds, the wand is metal and seems well built, it tracks behind me easily while vacuuming.
The floor and upholstery attachments are decent, the brush and crevice tools might have their place but overall kinda sad.
If you only had hardwood and tile floors then you wouldn't need anything else but maybe the nice horsehair brush for $16.
They have 4 attachments you can purchase separately that all seem very good, a turbo carpet brush, turbo upholstery brush, round horsehair brush and long crevice tool.
It works very well on hardwood floors, and fair on our oriental rug just using the floor attachment.
Overall the quality looks, feels, sounds much better than any "Bissell" that I've ever used.
The company swears up and down that the machine is made entirely in Germany. It states it on the box, on the instruction manual and its emblazoned right on top of the machine "Made in Germany" complete with a German flag.
The list was $399, it was on sale for $299, and I had $113 of reward points on a card that I used so ended up paying just $208 shipped to the door.
Has a 7 year warranty on motor.
For the price I don't see anything that would have been any better.
I think it would be a good vacuum for you to review.
I've seen 4 separate reviews that claim they purchased a Miele C1 and returned it, bought this machine and preferred it, could of course be total BS but they seemed like legit reviews.

@@christinemccullough5608 I can fill up my extra large rainbow bin in 1 room of pet hair even though you can't see it. I also have had a grass kill off in the side yard. Dogs track in a fine dust and that dust is from clay soil. I am in the process of putting in a new type of grass that will regrow and repair itself so that should fix the issue with that.

I have the D4 canister the black onyx and I got it for Christmas but I like to downsize to the E3. And I'm thinking about selling my D4. I found that the D4 is just really too big for what I need

What size is your house? I am torn between the E3 and D4. Our house is around 2500 sq ft. I like the swivel hose on the D4 but wondering if the nimbleness of the E3 makes up for that.

@@jjphresh7058 I think the E3 would be better. I find the detour to be a little bit more Awkward as far as when I would use it. I'm happy that I sold it. I went with a sibo X7 upright. And I have to say I really like that a lot. I also bought the extra long hose for it and I'm very happy with it

@@jjphresh7058 I have also tried the E3 and I have to say I really like that it's more nipple like you said and I think it's easier to control around the house. But I didn't think I was kind of like an upright and when I tested the upright I like the upright better
