My family and went to a family reunion in Lumberton, North Carolina this weekend. So, we drove to Florence, South Carolina to that Buc-ee and I loved it. The best thing was chop brisket, cinnamon rolls, the sausage on the stick was pretty good and the peans. I really didn't care too much about the beaver nuggets. I hope they build a Buc-ee near me :)
Most of them would be fine - Generally, you just can't bring liquids or gels (larger than 3 oz). Non perishables like the peach rings, trail mix, nuggets etc would be most travel friendly
GF is from Texas and we live in Michigan. I've had super fresh jerky, especially venison jerky which is my favorite. But when me and her drove down there and I got some Bucees jerky, it was phenomenal. To this day I think about that spicy jerky I got. I wish I remembered the name because I'll definitely get that next time I'm down there.
I’m also from Michigan and have been to the original Dublin General Store in Dublin, MI (near Wellston) that specializes in jerky, as well as the location in or around G.R. and it is great. And as far as I can recall, the Dublin General Store used to have a little fudge shop right across the road, but not sure it’s still around sadly, as fudge from northern Michigan and especially the U.P. (Upper Peninsula) is absolutely delicious.
The beef jerky is the best. I'm a beef jerky snob, most store-bought jerky is a joke, homemade is the way to go, Buc-ee's jerky is as good or even better than homemade.
I live near one .. their bakery has great pies like apple Carmel The pork tenderloin cheese tray is good & their jerky is awesome Early in the am - breakfast tacos are very good
I'm looking forward to the location on I-10 in Mississippi opening. I've never been to a Bucees, so I can't wait to splurge on a trip to find all kinds of stuff for me and my fur baby - Little Miss Bella Marie.
Sadly, I'm 3 strikes and out for trying anything they cook in-store. Way too many unpleasant post-experiences. Their dried peppered beef and bagged selections are top tier, though.
I am not a trucker nor do I personally know a trucker. Buc-ee's could give out free food and I would not go there. Their policy of no truckers is insane, unreasonable, and what type of vehicle delivers their store stock? Also what type of vehicle delivers almost everything you bring to your house. Why screw the truckers? Without these truckers our great nation would be totally broken, empty shelves and out of control prices. This is how we show thanks to these people? Buc-ee's has plenty of property and money to accommodate truckers instead of showing their middle finger to them.
There are plenty of seedy $h!t truck stops for truckers. With plenty of LOT LIZARDS and NASTY BATHROOMS for them to enjoy. So STOP acting like they have no where to go!!!
Brisket was good, jerky was TERRIBLE! At $31 a pound, you would think it would be the best anywhere. Not so. We bought 5 pieces and 4 went in the trash, inedible.
Brisket is the family favorite, but, my last was had grizzle and fat, threw it out the window. One bad one didn’t spoil the batch, so it’s still the favorite
My last 3 in Baytown were fatty and gristly. Way too much. The store in Waller quite providing pickles, onions, and jalapeños. There is no such thing as Customer Service. There is no corporate phone # that is answered by a live person. Buc-we wants you fill out a request form online. It takes about 15 minutes. I’ve done that 3 times over the past few years. No one has ever emailed me, mailed anything to me, or called me. Buc-ee sucks…but the restrooms are usually clean.
Same Here! I always stop at the one in Luling and twice in a row, I had to throw mine out as well since it was all fatty and gristly. Not getting it anymore!
The Buc-ee’s in Baytown, Texas sells the fatty brisket sandwiches too. They used to be good. I quit buying there after the 3rd fatty sandwich. Now when I stop there it’s just to pee and get the iced tea. There’s no way to contact the headquarters except by leaving messages and they have never responded so screw ‘em.
Try the Bucees Nuggets. If you like caramel corn, its a puffed corn no hulls. Great.........
Beaver nuggets but yes
@@danielelston8921: The beaver nuggets are a close copy of "Screaming Yellow Zonkers " from the late 1960's - early 1970's !!!
Their cranberry pecan chicken salad is my number one go to at Buc-ee's
Thanks for the review, going to be stopping at my first Buc-ee's next month and you have given me a starting point. Thanks again. 👍👍
I tried the Cheesesteak burrito and it was very delicious... 😊

Are any of these foods airport friendly at security check point. Asking for a friend.

Ever had Dublin jerky?

Beast breakfast burrito and the bbq turkey sandwich.

the pulled pork is great brisket was a little chewy
Order the pastrami Reuben from the kiosk and make sure to add jalapenos. The kiosk offers a world of variety.

I love all of the overbites! They are awesome.
We're finally getting a Bucees in North Louisiana! Completion date 2025.
Driving through Texas next month. Will definitely stop by a Buc-ee's!
If 17 snacks are ranked and only 16 are shown what is number 17.
That's a great question! We trimmed it and must not have updated accordingly. So sorry! Sometimes cuts are made based on availability or other reasons
Try the 3-Meat XXL Sandwich....the best $12.99 you will spend.
Definitely Pulled Pork sandwich and the Sausage and Egg biscuit. The brisket is always weirdly disappointing.

No love at all for the GI-NORMOUS burritos???!!! They are the best!
Last time I went to Buc-ees, it seemed to me the Brisket, and the pulled pork, and the smoked turkey all tasted the same, and kinda dry
If you are mentioning a gas station and Buc-ees in the same sentence or paragraph, you are missing the point.
Brisket is the family favorite, but, my last was had grizzle and fat, threw it out the window. One bad one didn’t spoil the batch, so it’s still the favorite

Banana pudding, coconut pie and cinnamon sugared pecans 😋😋😋
My favorite thing at Buc-ee's might be the coffee.

The chips are not "homemade". They're made inside the establishment.
Need to put one here in NYC
DO THEY STILL HAVE THE SMOKED CHEDDAR?
The brisket is unbeatable!
What the F is Bucees ?
It's a 7-Eleven on massive steroids. I love it.
Those prices have gotten ridiculous for some items
