I don't see a big deal about getting a refill on sodas. Almost all restaurants give free refills on sodas and iced tea. What I don't like is after people get gas, they go shopping for awhile and leave their car parked at the gas pump. I go to the Daytona Beach, Florida Buc-ee's quite often and even with 104 gas pumps, many times it is hard to find an open pump. While traveling for our honeymoon in April, my wife and I got to stop at a Bucky's and while we were in Tennessee, we stopped at a couple different buckies as a truck driver. Yes, I agree that Bucky's needs to rethink. Their strategy about no truck drivers, second of all the money that. Any gas station makes off of their soda fountain is ridiculous. They have maybe 35 cents in the cup. And in the ice, the rest is all pure profit, so personally in my book, if you walk around and you're down to a 1/2 a cup and you top your cup off before you leave. Yeah, I don't see a problem with that and Bucky's. I'm sorry if you have a problem with that. You're thinking of your pocketbook, and not the pocketbook of the people that are causing you to get the growth that you have so in saying that Bucky's cook, grab ahold of your earlobes. And pull very tightly. And when you hear that, pop, that is your head coming out of Uranus, thank you. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to stop at Buckie's.
#12 don’t be in a hurry. There is no rhyme or reason as to how traffic flows throughout the parking lots. Sure, there are several entrance and exits, but everything inside of those is a free for all.
We got stuck in a gridlock at the Bucees on I-10 in Alabama for nearly an hour trying to get out. Large RV's and trailers and only one entrance in and out. One of the managers came out looked around and went back inside. I said never again.
Looked forward to checking out the Buc-ee's in Sevierville since it opened. Finally got a chance to on a recent trip to Pigeon Forge. I got a few things that looked interesting and tasted pretty good, but it was what I could not get that convinced me that once is enough! I've been there, it was OK, but I won't be going back.
The food is OK, but don't expect any tables or chairs to sit down and have lunch, either inside or outside. You'll have to eat inside your car for that. The truth is, Buc-ee's don't want you to hang around any longer than you need to.
My tip I don't go to Becky's because they don't want a trucker coming in. They are the backbone of this country they get things from point A to point B and do a job that is thankless and if you can't allow them to come in and enjoy your food then I don't want to be around you.
I refill my drink while im in store. I will die on that hill. They dont have tables, so I doubt hardly anyone is in the store long enough to refill. But if they are that parched, go for it. I think the sign says refills on this visit only.
Don't go to buckees at all. They are rude and very disrespectful. My wife and I travel quite a bit and we have stopped at three different buckees. And we will never stop at one again.
It used to be fun going there... not so much anymore... much like black Friday sales crowd... so, the best thing not to do at Bucceeeeeees is go there.
Chucky Cheese meets Cracker Barrel. Avoid at all costs. I second gas island a parking lot because they leave the RV with trailer clogging everything while they shop. Any money you would save on gas went out your tailpipe. Just use the latrine and get your gas across the street.
I am sorry, to me Buckees is ok, not an oh my we have to go. I did like the prices and the available food selection. It is well lit outside and feels safe. The check our lines are terrible and most employees are stressed and not at their best. The parking is great but don’t plan a rest from travels there. You are not welcome in this aspect. Hurry in shop till you drop and get out of their parking lot. Move on. No re-energizing allowed. I see the no semi trucks reason. But to be hateful to the RV traveler is crazy. We travel and stopped for fuel, then explore and get food. Take out to the RV to eat before moving down the road. We was told no, you cannot rest and eat the food purchased. Get down the road and eat elsewhere. So, totally not impressed.
Don’t forget the Philly Steak Burrito, they’ve on the bar near the beef jerky, way better that the BBQ sammich. Fun fact the owner and creator of Buccee’s is a Texas A&M alumni. I live in Texas and very close to a Buccee’s, it’s a fun experience, and I still go grab my brother one of those huge burritos 🌯 from time to time if I’m out and about, but I try to avoid my local one so I have something to look forward to on our long road trip to Corpus Christi or Houston to visit family.
The Eagle Lake and Port Lavaca locations are the only ones that allow truckers/18 wheelers. Unfortunately they are some of the, if not the smallest locations they have so it's almost a miserable experience for truckers to stop there.
Clean rest rooms are a multi-billion dollar business. The success of Buc-ee’s is women saying stop there we know the rest rooms are clean. The food is quite good, what else is there?

Lunch for four including drinks and a couple of bags of snacks, $58, buyer beware.
@@MichaelMeade-d7bI come from a country in which average sallary is 1400 dollars a month. A lunch for four person, with drinks and some snacks costing 58 dollars is really not expensive.

I often drive to South Carolina and I always stop at Buc-ee’s. I love it.
Florence, SC?
@@KittyPurrfect100 Columbia
@ KittyPurrfect100-- You are correct. Currently the only Buc-ee's in South Carolina is in Florence. It's just off of Route 95 at exit 170.
@@franknew9001 Thought you were asking where I was going in SC. My daughter lives in Columbia and I live in Tenn. so I stop at the 2 Buc-ee's on the way.
Anderson, SC 2025
I live in Tenn and I LOVE BUC-ees.
I spent 1 1/2 hrs at the Richmond KY location ❤❤
#12 don’t be in a hurry. There is no rhyme or reason as to how traffic flows throughout the parking lots. Sure, there are several entrance and exits, but everything inside of those is a free for all.
I visited my first Buc-cc's (in Sevierville) in December ('24) and I'm happy to say I didn't do any of these 10 don'ts.
Never been but this ad just gave me my own rule DONT GO TO BUCKYS
High priced tourist trap,
We got stuck in a gridlock at the Bucees on I-10 in Alabama for nearly an hour trying to get out. Large RV's and trailers and only one entrance in and out. One of the managers came out looked around and went back inside. I said never again.
The ones we have stopped at, had over a hundred pumps, but limited space to maneuver a large truck. I can see why they don’t allow semis.
What do you mean “what I could not get”? What couldn’t you get?
Seriously ...what could you NOT get there? Answer !!!
Don't forget, if you see Adam the Woo, Jenny Penny, or Jacob the Carpetbagger, you'll get a 10% discount, if you rub their belly! #FACT
Don't buy their Breakfast Sandwiches that include Eggs unless you like Slimey Sloppy Eggs.
The food is OK, but don't expect any tables or chairs to sit down and have lunch, either inside or outside. You'll have to eat inside your car for that. The truth is, Buc-ee's don't want you to hang around any longer than you need to.
Tourist trap
My tip I don't go to Becky's because they don't want a trucker coming in. They are the backbone of this country they get things from point A to point B and do a job that is thankless and if you can't allow them to come in and enjoy your food then I don't want to be around you.
I agree. Maybe if trucks didn't deliver, they would change their mind. I won't go because of that.
why no 18 wheelers?? couldn't they make a "section" for them?? I know a lot of truckers would like a clean place to stop
Don't stop....just don't
I refill my drink while im in store. I will die on that hill. They dont have tables, so I doubt hardly anyone is in the store long enough to refill. But if they are that parched, go for it. I think the sign says refills on this visit only.
So this is like a chuckee cheese type place or ??
@@greatcesarsghost Its more like WalMart sized gas station that is the by product of Texas breeding with 7-11 and Chuckee Cheeses.
But you get your supplies by trucks.
So you sell soft drinks with free refiles, but don't want anyone to refill their cup? I'm confused..
I am not a Buc yes fan and I do not like the sandwich
Don't buy brisket tacos or pre-made sandwiches. You're welcome!
Chucky Cheese meets Cracker Barrel. Avoid at all costs. I second gas island a parking lot because they leave the RV with trailer clogging everything while they shop. Any money you would save on gas went out your tailpipe. Just use the latrine and get your gas across the street.
Buccee's is a magical experience....when going to texas we always have to beg to go there lol (or on the way back)
sorry you missed the # one thing you need to get.the fresh made chips.
A&M alumnus (not the plural alumni), but the correct term is Former Student!
The Eagle Lake and Port Lavaca locations are the only ones that allow truckers/18 wheelers. Unfortunately they are some of the, if not the smallest locations they have so it's almost a miserable experience for truckers to stop there.
The REAL #1 - Don't EVER pass one! You owe it to yourself to STOP!
Clean rest rooms are a multi-billion dollar business. The success of Buc-ee’s is women saying stop there we know the rest rooms are clean. The food is quite good, what else is there?
The zoo of getting in and out, the search for an open pump, the lack of pepsi products.... I'll go somewhere else. Ya'll can have my spot.
Pepsi products?? Yuck!! 🤢
Now, now, let’s not start a Pepsi-Coke fight.
I live in the North East and sadly we don't have a Buc-ee's. We are missing out. 😔😔😔
Don’t rub Bucees nuggets it makes him uncomfortable
