Amex business relationship is everything, spend with Amex regularly and pay in full monthly and many approvals will follow Amex is highly relationship based.

My plan for the first 4 is all for Hilton - get one of each, then upgrade the Hilton Honors and the Surpass to end up with 2 Aspires, 1 Surpass, and 1 Business. If I can get approved for a 5th, it would be the Marriott Brilliant.

As long as your business spend makes sense and brings you rewards to outweigh the AF of the Amex Business Gold then it’s an excellent card. Amex Blue Business Cash or Business Plus are other solid Business card options.

Yup - sounds like a good deal to me. I suppose the VORP is 480k miles on the VX but I’d rather have FNCs to redeem.
You should get the Gold first as if you get the Platinum you will be locked out from the gold SUB entirely. Also you could potentially get the Plat 150k offer in the future as well.

If you’re meeting a signup bonus then said card would be excellent. Otherwise 2% or 2x card or a Hilton 3x everything else would be good!
