- This is another zero intervention drive, this time to Saugus HIgh School. Was finally able to get into the right turn lane to the high school.
You’ll see a small issue coming out of the high school with lane selection.
I didn't have to tap the accelerator at any point on the drive.

It's doing very well and impressive with new updates. Once it figures how to handle these terrible lane markings done by humans (especially here in Illinois) it will be a game changer.

5:25 it is great to see lanes net working correctly for the dedicated turn lane to the right of the bike lane. Kudos to Tesla!

7:34 Given Centurion worked, you needed to also test if that stop sign was still screwing up. ;)
The right turn on Centurion is hit and miss, was great to see it work finally but with higher speed and traffic still isn't consistent but I'm hopeful improvements coming with each update to improve reliability.
I will do a video showing the stop sign running next for sure.
tesla could install microphones to determine (by measuring the time difference) which car honked, and the ai to determine if it‘s related to the tesla‘s driving behaviour. and highlight the honking car on the screen.
You should do a 10 hour stopped at red light video =P
The visualization freezes at 1:12 - weird. It's just a display issue and not impacting driving decisions, but makes me wonder if the FSD computer to MCU computer connection has stability issues or something...
It's spending an inordinate amount of time in the fast lane when there was zero reason. It feels line 10.69.3 will be 11.0.
As a Dutch guy I still can't understand why America hasn't figured out how to set up sensors on their trafic lights... Americans are waiting so long for no reason, it's painful to see.
So true, drives me nuts here in Santa Clarita. So many "dumb" lights no timed right impacting traffic flow.
We do. Just not on all signals. We have un-actuated signals that are just timers; actuated, which are sensor loops in the ground to detect cars; and finally coordinated signals, which actively communicate with each other to plan their behavior optimally. Depends on the age of the city, money available, total amount of traffic, etc. The signals may also have systems installed to turn them for emergency vehicles using special transponders.
indeed. I often run red lights early morning because im sitting there in the darkness for 2+ minutes sometimes.
what FSD profile you used? And have you tried any lane merge test, one similar to what Chuck Cook did? thx
James, immediately after the first right turn, FSD misses the speed sign as usual. You stopped reporting that to Tesla. Why? You gave up on a fix?
I just did another drive before this one a reported it so didn't want to use the AP Snap shot on the same issue twice on this drive. :)
