I got my nitro kit today. Set it up as you did by swapping the dual snare for tom 2 and use the second trigger as the ride so i can have 2 crash cymbals instead of just 1. Works great.
The riser tips were a huge help my man. I just got a nitro mesh and I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the rack to my height, found out I'm hitting rim a lot. BTW I'm just getting into pro drumming
i live in a duplex with a shared wall, thinking about getting a set and doing the drum riser platform thing along with soundproofing foam on the walls. not sure how much thatll help but i havent been able to have a set in years and im dying to play :(
Hey man, great work! I have my Alesis Nitro but I don't know how to properly assemble the kick and the kick pedal in orden to them don´t move away with every kick -.-
If you watch my other videos, in one of those (can't remember which one) I show how I screwed two L brackets into my drum riser and rest the kick trigger against those so it's impossible for it to move. Also having a pedal with a base plate helps stabilize it.
@@demonicsweaters I cannot seem to find the video where you show this in your playlist any chance you can link it? I am sure I will run into this issue...
try industrial Velcro on the bottom and make sure you're on a rug. Or you can get a drum rug with a stopper on it, or make one by simply bolting a block of wood to the rug.
I heard you can use a double kick pedal effectively if you adjust the sensitivity and other parameters of the kick drum. Will these settings work? Sound Settings: Menu: VOICE VOL-032 PAN-000 PIT-000 REV-000 MID-050 P-S-OFF Menu: UTILITY SEN-016 THR-000 CRO-016 CUR-006 R-S-008 S-S-009 LOC-ON GM-OFF POW-060 Menu: KIT EQH-negative 004 EQM-negative 008 EQL-negative 004 REV-OFF
I tried various settings, wasn't happy with anything, so just not worth it to me. I'm fine with playing a single kick. Adjusting the Kit EQ settings and Midi pad settings as well as reverb and several other parameters you list here have absolutely nothing to do with the bass drum sensitivity.
love ur videos!!! can u do one about drum plugins such as addictive drums 2 or superior drummer ?? i would like to record an ep using an edrum but dunno if it’ll be authentic enough!
Thank you, but I don't use any of those and don't plan on it either. I get very usable sounds out of the module, also I have done some videos on creating your own samples from real drums and controlling it with MIDI. ruclips.net/user/musicajurosearch?view_as=subscriber&query=nitro+ableton
I am using a Nitro mesh kit with a Miltimix 4. I wanted to take a minute to say thank you for answering my first question & helping me go thru the learning Curve. Here is another, I like your idea of moving The Snare Module to the Tom 2 position and adding a Ride Bell sound to the rim . Can I just switch the modules only and Keep the same wiring set up ? or do I run the Snare plug to Tom 2? Thanks in advance You Rock !
I know what you are asking, but just friendly correction on your terminology. The module is the part that you plug the triggers into that creates the sound. The drums are called triggers or just drums, or pads. To answer your question you can just switch the snare and tom 2 triggers without moving cables. Hope that helps!
Hope you read this some day ... The "Nitro video series" were amazing. I understand you had to move on. That is a pretty limited module. Just saying that everything was good about those videos. The way the camera was positioned, the light, the subjects... It was fantastic for someone who had the Nitro. I've sold that module a long time ago and still like to watch it :)
Your neighbor sounds like a pain in the ass! The only complaint I ever got was when I played later at night during the pandemic! Anyway another cool video! Thanks
Those dyer balls may be a bit too stiff to get maximum vibration absorption. I recommend cutting some tennis balls in half and placing them under your platform instead.

Glad you got it setup! Congrats on your new kit!
You’re all I’ve been watching lately. Mainly cause I got myself a ALESIS NITRO MESH KIT
Since my nitro set is on backorder, I've been drooling over your videos 🤤🤤
No way, my nitro mesh is also on backorder
Thankyou for all the info. I'm glad I watched your videos before I bought my set. I'm sure I'll be back when I get it
Will try this out for my son's alesis turbo mesh kit, thanks for the info!
Thanks, good DIY tips on noise/vibration reduction I'm having to update mine as well

Can you make a vid ab your added crash and how you did that. AND UR BY FAR THE BEST YT DRUMMER EVER
Has the new addition to the riser helped in decreasing the vibrations downstairs?
Yeah it has. But blocking my downstairs neighbor’s phone number seemed to help the most.
@@demonicsweaters lol 🤣😂
As a downstairs neighbor who’s also considering an e drum kit I’m not sure how to feel about this
Please give a tips so that the kick tower will not moving when i kick it

A rug or some carpet
Hey Justin! What thickness are those plywood boards?
How to stop my alesis surge bass drum from moving?

Can please you make a video on how to connect your electronic drums on zoom without an audio interface?
Do you think I would get any complaints in a down stairs apartment if I used this method?
I don't know your neighbors
Hey great video! Do you have the link to the original set up video? I searched your playlists can’t seem to find it.
Thank you, sure thing ruclips.net/video/iiQRVGonYdc/видео.html
@@demonicsweaters thanks a ton!
Does you pedal sway when using it on top of that Black Foam?
It did a bit, but it wasn't terrible. I'm not using this setup anymore though.
I just buy it
I thing i ask, can it fold to save some space like roland?
I'm sure you could, though the rack uses these annoying hex wrench bolts to loosen rather than a drum key.
@@demonicsweaters one more question, can you add drum sample on alesis nitro mesh kit?

Hey! Would anybody know how to make the kit sound like an acoustic?
Not gonna happen haha
Is your apartment floor Concrete?
No it’s wood

not at all, they're very soft, probably better than tennis balls.
