Made it today. It arose perfectly well. Initially. It deflated quickly and also felt like it burned. I think 180 for 40 minutes is too long. Maybe 180 for the first 20 minutes and a lower temperature for the next 20 would be more appropriate. I also added more lemon juice than prescribed, because my mixture was too dry without it.
Now this turned out to be exactly the way it looks on the video - fluffy , moist , even though I replaced the yogurt with eggs but still perfectly baked on the exact time - awesome in taste
Man i tried to make the cake with exact measurements and instructions but when I was adding lemon zest I got emotional and added extra for " MORE FLAVOUR " stupid...😥😥 Ended up making the cake bitter Atleast the texture was good...👍👍

U can peel..this is different variety of lime..in hindi its called kagzi nimbu..its indian..and we have this plant at home.its more tasty than the normal lemon.

Instead of 1/2 cup of curd use 2 eggs. I used double of all quantities as I wanted a big cake so I used 4 eggs. Otherwise if you're making exactly what's shown then use only 2 eggs. Plus, I used a good amount of butter as I didn't have butter paper.

Try to add equal milk as butter. And skip baking soda.. too much of leavening agents will deflate the cake easily.
Perfect. Moist cake recipe. Adding vanilla would enhance the flavor.
