I wonder if you can delete the battery and operate the car in combustion engine only mode
Its impossible to do so because Hybrid battery and inverter with convertor starts the engine through generator in Hybrid cars. Hybrid cars got no starter to start the combustion engine.

Yes. Definitely you need to clean it. If you are regularly driving the car. It must be thoroughly cleaned. Look the inlet of the fan you can tell by looking.

Just connect the scanner with your car and go to the hybrid system in scnner and clear the code. There will be no code but just give the command through scanner to clear codes. Message will be disappeared from the screen.
