Your fish are obviously very healthy, thanks for taking fishkeeping serious. Half the big fish channels are depressing if you are an informed and experienced keeper. Please keep going and promote proper aquarium care ❤
I just love that your fish have space to turn around and swim to actually look for food. It’s sad seeing those tanks and small ponds where fish can’t do a full 180.
I love the names they are fishtastic! Very cool setup, only a chad can take care of his fish like that, giving them space, clean water, tasty food and love!
As someone who is absolutely terrified of fish, you talking about Garfield and his snout actually made me think he was cute? It was a strange sensation
garlic, mentally eel, and garchomp 🥺 I’m losing at it at how creative your names are! makes me wonder how colorfully named your Pokémon teams must have been
i ADORE aquatic creatures. i love your names for them, theyre all so clever haha!! im so thankful to have discovered your channel oh my goodness!! what a hidden gem ♡
Greetings from Spain! I'm amazed in how this pit is evolving. Congrats. Are the koi afraid from you or it's just because of the eel pit set up? Keep it up!! All the best
This is unbelievably neat. Have you thought about putting in some more natural lights, and maybe putting something on the walls, so it's more aesthetic for youtube? Can't wait to see what else you do with this. Would love to see a live camera, or maybe even a live submarine that cruises around with all the fish.
You should set up a live stream! If you’re really fancy, you could get a swivel set up, and pan from the light side to the dark side (like you do at 10:55). I’d watch all day long
I love how at the beginning, Garfield was just so ready for the camera. I snorted when I heard "Bongo, the drum." Poor dude, trying to school, but no one wants to participate in formal education with him ):
If they have the same care requirements, you better get a blenny or something similar!King Benny on the Deerfield beach underwater live cam is a hoot, and they’re another “look you/camera in the eyes” kind of fish.
Here's a tip for your filtration, I understand you can't have plants in the water, but have you thought of plants in a hydroponics system? You could do this above the ground before it enters the biofilter and grow anything from flowers to fruit and veg.
Id love to see some more native predator fish! I'd recommend pike, but those would probably eat the sunfish. Pickerel are a good option, redfin are my favorite!
Garlic is most definitely looking straighter and straighter with every upload, He’s 100% gonna look almost perfect by the time he’s 3ft+. He’s healing great! Love the video’s braj. Cool if I message for some details on the ornates?
@@CowTurtle I'm new, so I was about to comment out of concern for his skeletal issues. But it sounds like you got him in bad shape and he's getting better 💜
I don't think they'd get on with the gravel substrate, the crabs would probably eat them, and his current filtration setup seems to be doing an excellent job.
the gar look so derpy and cute, ^^ this is a super chill channel m8 welldone. i love all the fantastic pun names most of all the eel names like crunch rap supream and mentaly eel. and shaqeel.
You should’ve called the Gar with different coloured eyes, Bowie, or even Dave after David Bowie, he famously had different coloured eyes I haven’t seen the pit for ages it’s looking amazing you’ve added loads of awesome fish Nice one👍☹️
Crabs still alive? I have seen them survive in low salinity creeks and in the Chesapeake Bay, but never seen them make it in fresh water. Interesting! cool set up.
Very cool setup. I never knew you can keep blue crabs in fresh water. I've heard they do ok for a bit, but don't make it long term. Also, never knew you can get sturgeons Where do they come from? Thank you
This man is living the dream. Coolest thing I've ever seen.
Obligatory white wine joke

funny seeing you here Adam. Make an eel pit!
Shark cooking video when
His channel is goals
The eel pit is so sick. Your knowledge on all these creatures is impressive.
Put arowana
His naming skills are better
The naming skills alone are top notch
Your fish are obviously very healthy, thanks for taking fishkeeping serious. Half the big fish channels are depressing if you are an informed and experienced keeper. Please keep going and promote proper aquarium care ❤
It looks like his eel pit is in the sewers lol
Well, the water is deep.@@Maddenmvp_yt
Even to an uninformed, inexperienced, non fish keeps it looks depressing on those channels.
I like how the water is always crystal clear.
“Mentally Eel” 😂 that’s one of the best pet names I’ve ever heard!
Shaqeel 😂
Its great to see how concerned you are with giving the larger fish enough space to feel comfortable and happy!
Love the eel pit! Excellent video, can't wait to see your sharks!
I just love that your fish have space to turn around and swim to actually look for food. It’s sad seeing those tanks and small ponds where fish can’t do a full 180.
For how susceptible the sun fish are, it's amazing how open and visible they are.
They are not afraid of the gar at all:
ruclips.net/video/QnAPGOZU4E4/видео.html
Brim(sunfish) are extremely quick and aggressive. They live around virtually all these fish in the wild, plus the bowfin and bass.
Its always so nice and relaxing to watch someone who obviously loves them taking care of well fed, happy fish
I love that you just have a whole ecosystem that you maintain for your fish its amazing!!
someone needs to sponsor you a ROV/Sub so you/we can swim right along with them. Amazing setup and your love for these animals is inspiring. Cheers
Dude, a twitch stream submarine would be so cool.
The way he looks at you before swimming away is giving “doesn’t want to go to first day of school” vibes 😂
Alligator gar are so cool, they seem tough with all the teeth, but their surprisingly timid and intelligent

@@3Clod My point exactly! Let them be ignorant. Thanks for backing me a n this, friend. 😊
I still think it's cute that you Named an Eel Crunch Wrap, particularly because eel's are known to crunch and wrap their prey.
I am always delighted by the eel pit, thank you for more eel pit footage!
I love meelanie because I can instantly tell her apart from all the other eels
love how well the sturgeon are doing compared to their rough time when they came in.
That "Hi everybody." is literally so classic and fills me with good vibes.
How chill they are
I absolutely love the names of the fish and eels.
That hound shark looks amazing.
I love the names they are fishtastic! Very cool setup, only a chad can take care of his fish like that, giving them space, clean water, tasty food and love!
I wondered about Bathtub because you hadn't mentioned him in a while. Glade he's back in the pit. Beautiful Damsels.
Can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into your fish's environmental setup and care. Great to see and geat video!
As someone who is absolutely terrified of fish, you talking about Garfield and his snout actually made me think he was cute? It was a strange sensation
10/10 video!! Absolutely love this behind the scenes video and very personal with each fish! ❤️ Nice job! They all look so happy!
In the snake breeding world, we call that paradox. 1:31
Wow, according to the thumbnail this one's like 8 ft long😂
Oh god finally I've been waiting for ever for a new video this day just got so much better thanks so much
garlic, mentally eel, and garchomp 🥺 I’m losing at it at how creative your names are! makes me wonder how colorfully named your Pokémon teams must have been
The thing I love about this pit is you can add volume at any time. How deep could you actually go?
Technically I could go the full 8ft deep.
@CowTurtle gotta admit that would be pretty cool lol 😁
i ADORE aquatic creatures. i love your names for them, theyre all so clever haha!! im so thankful to have discovered your channel oh my goodness!! what a hidden gem ♡
The names for your eels always get me 😂
Be cool to see more Blue crabs down in the Pit! 🦀
Crab Crab Crab 🦀
This is WICKED cool! Really dope to see someone so passionate and knowledgeable about creatures
Brilliant video, what a fantastic watch 👍
Greetings from Spain! I'm amazed in how this pit is evolving. Congrats. Are the koi afraid from you or it's just because of the eel pit set up? Keep it up!! All the best
I would imagine some snowflake eels or some other cool saltwater eels would be good looking in the tank, and would live well with the sharks
Mentally eel is the greatest thing I have heard all day
This is gonna be one of those channels I need to skip watching for awhile so I can Binge later lol
This is unbelievably neat.
Have you thought about putting in some more natural lights, and maybe putting something on the walls, so it's more aesthetic for youtube?

Sketchy concrete eel pit is peak aesthetic
Garlics spine is looking great now. Straightened up nicely. Not 100% but not far off.
So awesome. Any plans for some moss walls, or some other live plants?
You should set up a live stream! If you’re really fancy, you could get a swivel set up, and pan from the light side to the dark side (like you do at 10:55).
I’d watch all day long
Came for the eel pit. Stayed for the eel DRIP
A freshwater moray eel might make a cool addition, however I suppose that it's probably too cold for most species in the pit :/
You have a touch for naming those guys😂. Had several chuckles
the names are amazing. Mentally eel is by far the best.
I love how at the beginning, Garfield was just so ready for the camera. I snorted when I heard "Bongo, the drum." Poor dude, trying to school, but no one wants to participate in formal education with him ):

cant wait to see what the salt water tank becomes
We need some Lilly pads in the eel pit . Fish r looking nice and healthy bro 👍
An absolutely fascinating hobby you have there, mate 👍
I'm SUPER excited to see what you do with a 500g saltwater tank!!😲👀😎👍👍
Here's a tip for your filtration, I understand you can't have plants in the water, but have you thought of plants in a hydroponics system? You could do this above the ground before it enters the biofilter and grow anything from flowers to fruit and veg.
I absolutely love your idea. Thank you for sharing
This guy is great. Has basically a dungeon at his house and converted it to an eel pit.
Already looking forward to the horn shark names :) ... trombone, tuba... fog

He didn't actually build it, it was a rain water reservoir that was already there
Any thoughts on adding shellfish or clams as natural filtration?

I could genuinely sit for hours down there! So calm looking
How many gallons of water do you estimate is in the eel pit? It looks so spacious in the underwater shots!
Probably 6,000ish right now.
@@CowTurtle What's the depth of the eel pit? Just discovered your channel.
Fun. This sort of video is why I love this channel
Omg. He’s actually really cute! 😍
This is so cool!!! I love fishes... I love marine and freshwater animals!!
I don't know why YT decided to recommend this channel to me, but I'm sure glad it was!
Crunchwrap is lookin awesome!!!
Nice to have a Gar friend.
This is epic! I never even knew i wanted an underground eel pit!! I learned something today
finally the eel pit episode I've been waiting for.
I'm loving these names.

Can we get an update on the fish inside the plastic container ? The loach and such
I'm in love with Garfield omg

This is the first video of yours i've watched and I'm amazed by the pit of fish, like where is this?
"Mentally Eel" 😂😂😂😂
I LOVE this setup though
sting rays!!! that would be awesome!
I love the roll call of their punny names
great use of a crawl space mate
