Do you think the snowy weather in Canada creates more of a selection for white animals? I live in a warm sunny place and there's no white squirrels but I have seen blacks ones

I would watch a reality tv show based on the eel pit. I feel like the crabs would always be causing drama and the sturgeon would be so sick of them, but the eels are no thoughts just happiness.

Quick question about driftwood: how do you prepare it, if you prepare it at all, before putting it in the pit? I found a couple really nice bleached pieces in a river I want to introduce to my 180 gallon.
Honestly I don’t prepare it at all. Worst case sometimes I’ve noticed some water mold on a couple but snails or plecos love to eat that. I do leave it sit out in the sun for about a week to totally dry out.

If youre interested in anymore sturgeon or fish for your pit but a LFS near me, undergroundaquatics, has amazing prices for their sturgeon and rays and ships across the states!
you should try to get a school of small mouth bass just like 2-3 it will add more aggression. You can then also add crawfish and hellgramites for them to feed off of.
Staying up till 1am has never been this worth it.
