Bro I just saw this comment after three months (sorry :,c) buuut I will tell you this; I recorded this video with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and at the time I didn't know that the video quality could've been better sadly. I was recording in 720p and I had no idea until after I had finished recording, editing, and post. It was so irritating but I just uploaded it as it didn't seem like TOO much of an issue. But thanks for noticing my guy, I'll be sure to upload better quality video from now on ;)

In the bottom left of your desktop (by default), there's a search bar that you can access from the windows key, search Sonic Studio 3, an ASUS software that allows you to edit and tinker the sound quality and even bass boost your drivers.
Hi, if you try to bend the screen sides (black ones) do they make like crack or snap sound? Mine is making like a cracking sound when i bend the left side of the screen.
So far, no. After a few months of use the cords I run behind the laptop dont get affected in anyway by the excess heat coming from the exhaust vents. But I will say the vents point outward and away from the cables, keep that in mind for when youre cable managing behind the laptop!!
have this laptop but i have a question, if i dont touch the keypad or keyboard for few minutes the rgb keyboard stops lightning up, and sometimes if i press a button or touch the mouse pad the rgb completely stops working is there a fix or an option for that?
Uhhhhh its possibly a defect in the rgb, I'd recommend you took it to the geek squad at best buy and see if they can help you because I didn't have an issue with the rgb like that.
how is the fan noise on the differen fan speed options? is it noticeable on the silent and "performance" mode? because turbo is sure to amp up the fan noise. thanks in advance
Silent fan speed is quite literally silent. Performance gives you a balance between quiet fans, but they'll be spinning fast enough to cool the components inside. Turbo is mainly focused on cooling, so if youre having a hardcore gaming session definitely use the turbo mode.
yes, with the 1080p display, you can get sharp visuals, as well as a very good color balance with the ips display!! i use davinci resolve for editing and it works perfect for rendering 1080p 60fps :)

This is a good question, since it was built for gaming it can handle anything else you throw at it, streaming videos and surfing the web is a breeze since the laptop has a ton of RAM!
Excellent question! When youre in a game, and if you have an Nvidia Graphics card in the laptop or PC you're using: press Alt+Z to bring up the GeForce experience overlay and from there you'll click the cogwheel in the overlay and go to hud options>FPS Counter>select a quadrant to display the FPS>and press ON.
The ROG boost means the card is overclocked by ROG's setting. The 6GB tells you how much VRAM you have. The higher the VRAM, the better the graphics card.
It is doing excellent! I've learned that streaming in high quality isn't the best thing for the laptop, so imma wait to get a dedicated streaming rig before I touch twitch ever again haha, but with that aside, the games run PERFECTLY and after almost a year, I haven't noticed any changes in performance which is a VERY good sign! I'm thinking of making a follow up video in the near future, so be on the lookout!
I've found a setting in the Aura Creator, you can access it from the Aura Effects tab in the Armory Create software. You'll just adjust the underglow to be off and set everything else to light up within the Aura Creator!!
This is the ROG Strix G15 laptop, the ONLY issue I have with the laptop is the storage it comes with, only half a terabyte. If youre gonna get the exact model I got, be sure to invest in an external hard drive, because warzone filled in the space a ton. The next thing imma get for it is a 1TB hard drive
@@kjubajla external HDDs allow users to have storage without taking apart the laptop, as for most stores voids the warranty on the device and it allows the user to forego the doubts of taking apart the laptop and putting it back together and having the device working smoothly, since installing internal SSDs or HDDs requires to unplug a few things, so I recommend getting an external storage device for users that aren't tech-savvy you might say. Hope this answers your concern.

So I took a trip to micro center and got myself the ssd, and installed it myself, wasn't as bad as I thought. ASUS made it VERY user friendly to take apart, and put the laptop back together. Super modular for a gaming laptop and I love it!
yes armoury crate > device > system > lighting > setting > turn off 'laptop light zone' i turned it off because the left side of the light strip is not working anymore. wanna send it to service center but been pretty busy with online classes.
i apologize that i cant compare the other models, since i do not own any other models... but temps never went over 100 degrees celcius after a 40 minute to an hour gaming session (this is with turbo fan speed set)
For this very laptop, im not sure a 1650ti could handle SUPER complex 3D graphical design but I haven't tested software like such on it so I'm uncertain.

But depending how much CPU dependant the software is, youll need to find a laptop that has a processor that can accommodate that certain software. I wasnt able to get good framerates from Cyberpunk on settings that were higher than low. I actually have some gameplay uploaded to the channel if you want to give that a look, I have the fps (while recording with OBS) in the top right corner of the screen.
I has usb-c (not thunderbolt 3) and all of the power you'll need for the fans, graphics card etc. comes from the 150W charging cable that comes with the laptop

Hey! I've played cold war on this laptop and to be fair, cold war's graphics haven't been optimized for this setup of hardware, so low settings is where the high fps comes in, sadly
Sadly, this very model comes with 512GB SSD. but the storage is upgradable by opening the bottom of the laptop up and installing a HDD made for laptops with storage capacity of your choice :)

Yeah, but I dont use a num-pad so this isn't an issue for me. What you can do is buy a num-pad that can plug into the laptop via USB off Amazon for around $15 depending on your preference of quality.

Only thing I don't liked about this laptop is that it doesn't have separate num pad
Yeah, but I dont use a num-pad so this isn't an issue for me. What you can do is buy a num-pad that can plug into the laptop via USB off Amazon for around $15 depending on your preference of quality.
And there might be some wireless options if you prefer to keep the wire clutter to a minimum.
