I purchased this laptop yesterday (10750H and 2070 variant), for both school and gaming. In my opinion, the only thing I dislike is the rubberised plastic left and right on the touchpad... But for the price I paid, I'm more than happy overall. It's an incredible laptop for it's price point, especially the 15.6 model. Also, awesome video!

if u have the laptop yet, can you tell me if its worth it? like does the rgb ever get annoying, does it weigh too much, and is it bad how there is no camera?
@@owendaughney9243 I've had it for about a month now, and I can easily say it's an amazing laptop. If you want more detail as to why I love it, here it is: The RGB is great, it's nice having the keys and sides of the laptop light up. Also, the performance is great for medium to light games, but it might struggle a little with beefier games. The weight is a bit on the heavy side, but it's still pretty easy to carry around. As for the camera, I never really use laptop cameras so I don't personally mind not having built-in ones. If you really need a camera, then I'd recommend just buying an external camera for about $20-$50, if you want. As long as you are OK with the price and don't need any extreme performance, it will serve you well. It's also good to mention that it has plenty of extra useful keys like dedicated volume buttons, a quick performance-mode switcher, and an ASUS ROG key. It also has 3 USB ports and a headphone port, so you shouldn't have any trouble there. Sorry for the long reply, I just wanted to be as helpful as I can be. Have a great day

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. You will be able to play the specified games on this laptop however assuming you go with this exact configuration you will have to compromise on the graphics settings. Great video man! What about the RTX 2060 model of G15 ? Is there any concerns related to heating issues or are there any better laptops out there that I am not aware of?
Hi thanks for watching! The RTX 2060 model is considerable more powerful than the 1650ti version, also 16gb of ram will make a huge difference in performance. As far has thermal management goes the G15 isnt bad but it does reach temps of up to 85 degrees under super heavy loads. i have this laptop but i have a question, if i dont touch the keypad or keyboard for few minutes the rgb keyboard stops lightning up, and sometimes if i press a button or touch the mouse pad the rgb completely stops working is there a fix or an option for that?
Hi good question, keep in mind most gaming laptops have thermal Throttling issues due to the narrow cooling based on my use I found the G15 does can handle most games at high settings while staying under 80 degrees however more demanding games like Doom Eternal tend to push this limit and can show the occasional lag.

Hi, while you can run auto cad on this I would advise a slightly more powerful unit. Ideally get a laptop with a Core i7 processors with at least 2.8Ghz speed, furthermore get at least 16gb ram. AutoCAD is very resource extensive it will put a heavy strain on your laptop and having those specs will ensure you can run it for the years to come.
I've got the money to buy it but I don't know if I need to upgrade yet
Is this good for rendering? Architecture based. Don't want maxed out specs
Yup it can handle that for sure
What type of SSD does it have? NVMe or SATA?
i have this laptop but i have a question, if i dont touch the keypad or keyboard for few minutes the rgb keyboard stops lightning up, and sometimes if i press a button or touch the mouse pad the rgb completely stops working is there a fix or an option for that?
Hi yes you can, go to the Armor Crate Asus app from there you can toggle RGB keyboard settings.
I am planning to buy this but I have heard it has GPU throttling issue
what your view on it?
Hi good question, keep in mind most gaming laptops have thermal Throttling issues due to the narrow cooling based on my use I found the G15 does can handle most games at high settings while staying under 80 degrees however more demanding games like Doom Eternal tend to push this limit and can show the occasional lag.
Thank you for reply your opinion matters
Man iam really confused between hp victus and rog strix pls help me should I consider funky rgbs with good refresh rate or good performance with high refresh rate and by the way it's my dream to own a rog strix but is it outdated these days can you reply pls !
If it's for gaming I prefer desktops but if you want laptops for gaming go with asus
Hp Dell laptops are good when it comes to education purpose
Bought the laptop but the fans are to loud ! Is there a way to ( fix ) it? Is this a common issue ?
Hi, are they always loud or only when you’re doing something CPU intensive?
@@SoulOfTech Hi , well before i install windows in bios fans were around 3300 rpm. After windows installed things got worsted . They were to loud for normal use for expensive laptop like this i think.
How about screen brightness.... is it visible in outdoor lighting ?
Hi peak brightness is 300 nits which is ample for most environments however I wouldn’t advise playing in bright sunlight as even the best of displays struggle with that.
Is this still worth it in 2021
It’s not gonna max out modern games but will still provide a good gaming experience
Amazing quality video!!!!! Hats off!!
Does this laptop have fingerprint scanner?
Thank you for watching, stay tuned for more content 😊
This laptop does not have fingerprint scanner.
What game you played on the video?
Wolcen
Nc video, may i ask if is it safe to use it while charging.
Thanks. Yes it is absolutely safe to charge the laptop while using it. In fact when gaming it is often advised to keep the charger plugged in for a optimal gaming experience.
One last question my asus strix g15 cant go turbo mode it's either silent or performance only help me plss
In armour crate it says that -this mode is currently unavailable on your pc
What about built quality because I thinks than the metal ones are better plss ans my question
Its mostly a hard TPU body but the over build is sturdy and can handle general wear and tear.
@@SoulOfTech hello I bought this one with i7 16gb 4gb gtx hyperex graphics card, but I want to upgrade the graphic card to 8 GB, so can i ? Can I update it with rtx 6GB graphics ? Pls reply, really in need of your help 🙏

Thanks for watching!
Is the G512LI rog strix vr ready?
Nice video 👍
Do you know the screen response time on this device?
Hi good question Asus does not specify, however I will confirm for you and reply back here.
@@SoulOfTech please say
@@ZeninMotoVlogs It has a response time at 27ms.. I own the laptop myself, but i must confess that the display is rather bad. Only 67% SRGB coverage and slow response time. Games like Fifa will have ghost effect on fast movement from players.
Hi, based on our test this what we found:
around 33 ms GTG
SoulOfTe I am going to build PC of 1 lakh and I would get an offer of minimum 20k during great Indian festival and I think PC is best choice
i wished you could show us how loud the keyboard is
Hi that is a good point, I will try to keep this in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching!
Hello, in that model Can I expand the memory ran from 16gb to 64gb??
Hi, you can upgrade the ram up to a maximum of 32gb.
@@SoulOfTech thank you sir ✌✌
@@SoulOfTech can u upgrade SSD also?
