@@eliestapie9589Does Lenovo gaming laptop screen still do 100% sRGB? Some people bought the Rog Strix because of the 100% DCI-P3 screen. It is slightly superior to 100% sRGB.
I have seen Windows laptops with good screens (100% sRGB) but they were paired with Intel Iris Xe GPU. If you want dedicated nVidia, then you have to buy super expensive gaming laptop. For example this G16 with 240Hz and 100% DCI-P3.
I would have bought a Lenovo if good screen and great specs… or great screen and good specs. However not great screen and mediocre spec. Only Apple used to do that before M1. Now they do great screen and great spec.

Hi, there should not have any vertical lines on your screen, this can be related to your battery. Please check about this it can be factory issue.

I installed hwmonitor to have a better known about the temps of my cpu, and in specific the core #3 normaly is the hottest one, i have the same lap is it normal? In normal games all the cores are between 75 - 84°C which i think is normal but the core #3 reaches temperatures of 90-95°C, is that normal?

Please pay attention G14 is not Strix its Zephyrus. And for real gameplay G14's display not going to be enough. This can cause disappointment in the future. Better go for G16.

I'm not sure if I understand your question. However, you can configure the on/off light at armoury crate.

Why not buy the Zephyrus G16 with 4060? Unless you need peak CPU performance (not needed for games) in exchange for higher average noise levels and worse battery life with the Intel-powered M16.
Hey! I have this exact laptop and apparently it can run games up to 500fps? I currently get 240-260fps so how exactly do i get 500fps? I have my laptop in performance mode already. I want to be able to play Halo infinite and Apex legends in 500fps.
İt doesnt matters. You can run minesweeper in 1000 fps but your monitor will still run it at 165hz.

With flow x13 i don't think so, but G16 yes! They did G16 to be really with silent mode.

Don't look at the brand and look at the laptop. Trusting a brand is your biggest mistake, and being a fanboy is a terrible thing to do. Instead, look at the laptop and what it offers vs other laptops.
Currently Asus has more experience and success than other brands in gaming sector. That's the reason but of course always check the features before you go for something.
I don't even play videogames. Don't bite into the "gaming laptop" meme. You can simply get a laptop with a Ryzen 7 7840HS and 32GB RAM (no less than that) to play any game you want, just with reduced settings, and it will be much less expensive for a system with much better build quality, materials and reliability, a system with a fast CPU that would be portable, and the iGPU would be at the level of the GTX 1650 35W, if not faster than that. One of such laptops is Firebat U6, it's based on an OEM platform and there are other laptops with different names that have the exact same platform and design. It's the cheapest Ryzen 7 7840HS laptop you can buy with well-rounded specs (it's got a 2560x1600 165Hz screen, even though it's not a gaming laptop).

The I7 is superior to I9 in terms of temperature, don't even think about buying anything else than I7 the next few years atleast, I9 overheats way too much, I7 is very cool, get this laptop it's perfect

Sorry to tell you but my acer helios neo only took 10 seconds to boot up the computer and it's quiet at all with a price of 1k (rtx4060 I5-13500HX 1440p 500 nits 165hz)

The laptop itself is originally coming like that. I didn't touch keycaps tbh and no idea about transparent keycaps for laptops.

If room temperature is 28-34°C during the summer (or 50°C like it was in Rio recently), then that laptop CPU temp is starting t that temp already. 😂

I assume it's being kept at 80C so as to saturate the heatsink and get as much performance while staying quiet
@@one_step_sideways using it for 2 months. Generally, all games operate "mostly valorant" at 85°C. I kind of think this isn't normal, I am considering taking it to the asus service.
@@blank-0 84C is edging on not being normal. Many gaming laptops from many brands dynamically adjust performance to stay within 85C, but that's not exactly healthy. Above 85C is when the silicon in the CPU and GPU starts to degrade much faster. Newer CPUs under 7nm are most impacted by temperatures above 85C. Do you have a Ryzen processor? You could try using Universal x86 Tuning Utility to limit the temps to 80C or 77C (77C is ideal, but 80C is fine too if you will have problems at 77C).
@@one_step_sideways no mine is intel i7. The exact same laptop in the video. I get those temperatures even though cpu is in power efficiency mode.

You have made a performance comparison of turbo and silent modes, but you have not given us any information. I wish you could at least show the temperature indicators in the armoury crate of the computer and show the temperatures in the game by activating the OSD screen. There is no test like this... You are doing it wrong.

I don't have a coil whine. Some G16's have it for some reason but mine is clear.

idk what people see in the legion lineup BUT side by side you cant even compare the legion to the strix ... the strix is superior in any way you put it especially with the new TRI fan tehnology its dead silent

Normal when under load the fans have a wierd placent and when air goes through that vent it makes that noise
That's called coil whine, normal and harmless and everyone has it to a degree, some has it loud, some has it silent, it's harmless and you won't hear it unless you put your ears in the laptop.

Silent mode adjusts the power and speed in a laptop to reduce fan action. If on Ultimate mode, the laptop will heat up fast so the silent aspect will at some time go away. What’s happening to you is normal
