Great Stuff Austin! If you'ere getting feeback about correcting little detail items; that would indicate you're working off a nice solid foundation. Well Done!
👍
I can hear that "room" also, but very slightly...
👏👏👏👏
Have you had, and/or continue with voice coaching? I have heard it is recommended. Thank you
I have! Among other things I attended a 3 year MFA acting program, and voice/speech are indeed highly recommended 😉
Many (many) years ago I had a some a little vouce coaching when I sang in a band.
It was extremely helpful at the time.
Once I'm satisefied with my techninal "sound"; that is the next catigory I will be asking Jay for help with.
Wishing you great success in your vocal endeavors,
B

@jaymyersvoiceover I am starting to wish I had never gotten out of theatre. Fell prey to folks saying "you will never make a living at it" instead to go into social work, of which no one bothered to ALSO say, "you will never make a living at it" lol
Overall it sounds pretty good. I’m not sure if he’s using his arms and hands. I’m not a pro but when I record if I’m not using my arms and hands it sounds a little flat. It’s just a thought.
I have one question and one only, is it possible for someone from a non English speaking country, not living in an English speaking country, to make it into English voice acting / voice over space?, I've been watching your videos for a while now and it's amazing keep it up
That’s an amazing question. To be honest, because that isn’t my experience I’m not sure. However, from my peers’ anecdotal accounts the main challenges would be adjusting your schedule to be working in the “right “ time zone, as well as the ability to speak English with a native accent. Neither of those are required by any means, and certainly aren’t reasons to abandon the idea( but my friends say they can find those two factors limiting in making it a full time job.
