"Fluid" does not mean "confused" people. It just means that he will embrace whoever comes at him without asking himself any questions. Love at its finest.

I love how respectful Lucas is and how emotional and exposed he was when he talked about his own sexuality. The word 'fluid' is a word I've never heard before in that context and I will let it guide me through my future relationships (95% hetero at the moment but his courage and choice of words had definitely just inspired me to be more open to experience). So thank you, sweetheart. Just thank you.

To all of you saying “so he’s just bi and confused”, You still don’t get it, do you? To me he didn’t sound confused at all when he said he identifies somewhere in the spectrum and no, it’s not the same as saying “I’m bisexual”.

Seriously what's the point of him explaining his sexuality when everyone is just gonna define him how they want.
It is not for the ignorant. It is for the young people who feels alone (and also the not so young as well).
Because he’s doing a movie about conversion therapy where people are told their sexualities are wrong.
Sexuality is something that's deeply personal, not a label for others to give you. This is how he understands his sexuality and he's allowed to talk about it if he wants to !!

My comment was directed to the people commenting about his sexuality and labeling him how they wanted even though he explained how he really identifies. My issue was with the ignorant people commenting, not him. I support him completely because I also exist in that same spectrum as well.

I saw this movie last night. It gave me anxiety watching it, I was having full on palpitations it got me so angry. They did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to read the book. Beautifully written, beautifully portrayed, just beautiful. Even with the anxiety ❤️

My thoughts exactly it's just their ego and morals that won't let them accept the fact that humans can literally be attracted to any gender they want to people love to put themselves in categories

I believe humanity is on that continuum. I don't believe every person is because that is not my experience nor the experience of a number of individuals I've known very personally. However, I think far, far more people fall on somewhere more in the middle of that spectrum than they care to admit.

Lucas mentioned his Gym teacher and I believe Masters and Johnson talked about sexuality and the spectrum. I agree with this philosophy.

Conversion therapy doesn't work. God works though. And God loves you as you are. No other human has the right to tell another how to be or who to be. That's is against God's plan.

sexuality is fluid and if you can not grasp that, then keep your opinions to yourself, especially if you feel the need to say something negative. each person loves differently. i’m sure i don’t love the same as you, just as you don’t love the same as the next. it doesn’t mean anyone is confused, it simply means they ware open to love; and love is love, after all. no gender or sexuality, no matter how much you press for there to be.

Totally off topic here, but anytime I see calf-length white socks and plain white shoes, I just imagine nurses or patients in a mental health institution? Does anyone else get that vibe? Way too white for me so I cringed a bit when the camera zoomed out. Anyway, back on topic, I may be confused about a lot of things, but whatever anyone says about her face bc of surgery, I still think Nicole Kidman is beautiful.

The thing you need to understand, that will help you make sense of this, is that we are ALL fluid. You may lean far to one end of the spectrum, and I may lean far to the other, but we are ALL fluid. Sexuality is not defined 100% in any direction.
Professionally, I bet Portia tells her that Ellen can flirt with the guys on the show but flirting with the girls. Same as Mrs Corden telling James that he can flirt with the guys but not the girls.
