There is a song in Boy Erased called Revelation. The songwriters are Troye Sivan, Jonsi Birgisson, and Brett McLaughlin ( aka Leland). Troye sings the beautiful song and it just made me cry.
+ andrineslife Well, I do have a handbag! It's full of my wallet, my keys, my phone, some makeup and a little packet of kleenex... and I'm NOT gay, so whatever they're doing makes perfect sense.
I love this kid; he's smart, empathetic, adorable--what a role model he is--not just for gay kids, but for all kids--and quite a few adults. Such a sense of knowing who he is. Go Troye!
I brought my very religious dad to watch boy erased with me when it came out as a gift for me passing an exam. I cried in the cinema, turned around, and saw him crying too.
