The lever is thicker in Porche so it is easier to launch but Ford Mustang's lever is thinner so a bit harder to launch. But it might have a problem in the mechanism too.
Really nicely sculpted model. It would be interesting to see how i fares against smaller pull back models, to see how the additional pull back motor handles the added weight
whoa...WHOA! A Formula-E car! Okay I wasn't impressed by the Mustang but I REALLY need this. Lego has licensed with Jaguar and I hope that their Formula E car is in the cards. The Speed Champs one is already really stellar but if they can do it in Technic...heaven!
One thing to point out here- lego couldnt really avoid the fact that there are so many stickers , as the formula e cars themselves have so many sponsors on their livery, so it would have been inevitable
Honestly this is tempting me to buy it, even tho its gonna be like 10 years since I bought lego set. Im not a huge fan of Formula E, because I dont find it as exciting as F1, but still know few names and have watched few races and I absolutely like this set! Lets just hope lego decides to make another F1 set as they used to back in 2000s with technic Ferrari and Racers Ferrari sets! That would be an insta buy from me
a beautiful show of technical possibilities in 2022: no mangle, no pistons, no differentials, not to mention the suspension and gearbox. such a more 4 + technic series set, unless nowadays steering wheels (steering gear) is a privilege of cars for $ 200?
I have to say, the past few years of Technic have been quite disappointing. There's been a few very, very good sets, but the rest are just mediocre. This is one of the latter...
On the Mustang... I might just leave the ratchet out... Use my fingers to grab the wheels when I pick it up to pull it back. Mustang is on the maybe list, Porsche is on the definitely list
Great detailed review. Somewhat saddened the Mustang didn't fare quite as well in execution as the Porsche, as aesthetically I prefer it. Still the design is accurate despite not updating wheels, and the function much better, with clearly much faster acceleration. Hate to say it, but the Mustang needs to go back to the drawing board as it doesn't hold together well, and trigger mechanism needs much improvement.
Why you complained to truck wheels, but said nothing bad about front wheel covers? As for me inside parts of them looks terrible. Why lego haven't added two additional mudguard panels?
I am surprised with high score for functions. Playability got also high score surprisingly. There is not that much to play with in this car. Other than that - the car is cool and I agree with all other scores.
@@searme We have the 42132 Motorcycle, 42133 MJ El Toro Loco, 42134, MJ Megalodon, 42137 Porsche 99V, and 42138 Ford Mustang GT500. So is this set coming out in March?!
Thanks for all the videos! I really hope that this daily posting will please the Almighty Algorithm so that you can finally get the traction you deserve!
Have you double checked the mechanism in the Mustang? Just because it seems unlikely that is works so much worse than this set... In RacingBrick's review it worked pefectly and didn't drift to the side? Maybe one of those pullback motors if faulty? Cool review! I personally like the Ford better because of the color, and I'm just not a fan of Formula E... Thanks for the review :)
Well I don't like the original look wise, so this will be pretty sure a pass for me. If it had any functionality other than the pullback it would be a maybe but like it is right now I'm not sure if I would buy it even with a 50%discount.
I noticed that it has a better acceleration than the Mustang as it’s lighter. Cool to see real life performances of cars interpreted by Lego.
It seems like Lego successfully recreated the quality difference between a Ford and a Porsche
bruh
Lol
the music at the beginning gives me throwback vibes to his old videos, awesome!!
I'm surprised this review is so positive compared to its 42138 sister set. I wonder why the launch mechanism works in one but not the other.

Finally 42130 has been revealed! It was BME M1000 with 6 speed transmission and looks 10x better than Panigale V4 set.Cant wait for the review👍👍👍
6 speed transmission? That's news to me.
You should probably watch this video again and listen carefully this time.
@@searme wait what
It never says that the set has 6-speed transmission. Seriously dude...
@@searme At first i thought it have 6 speed😶im so dumb
The wood tiled floor is back. So iconic
You figured this car of all things should have come with an electric motor. What a missed opportunity.
It’s a cute addition, but I question what a progress bar adds that can’t be gleaned from… the number of pages remaining in the manual.
C'mon though... it's still cute :)

1:11 Sariel tam powinno być chyba "from Porsche" a nie "from Ford"
Too late ;-) Napisy są wkomponowane w film.
Suprised by the score anyway good you came back to old style video :)
Who needs V8, Formula Pullback is here 😂
One good looking model car though. Thank you Sariel for a just review.
I think the wheelcases on the front are way to big on this model. Or does it look better when you have it in your hands?
I like this one a lot more that the stang, plan to get, love the vids keep up the amazing work with the videos

@@rubenramos4281 no way! Really? Do you have any source? Would love to read more about that!
@@janhes141 no real source, just some rumors that are floating around which I really hope are true
But I really miss the first pull back sets that could be rebuilt together as one big vehicle

I was wondering: if you have two copy's of the same set, are the spare parts identical, or is it just a random couple of leftovers?
@@Kyber417 there are regional differences, so not always but mostly.

The ratchet seems to be the problem, not the motor.
@@searme Is there a significant difference between the ratched in this set and the Mustang? And if so can it be fixed?
They appear to be very similar, so it's really hard to tell what the issue is.
Strangely, I don't have any problem with my mustang model.🤨
it's all good except for the white bricks.
