@@nobaski3284 yes I do respect you and your opinion. But prints would be a thousand times better than stickers because they survive not just two years or one disassembly. And the more people go along with this stickers bullsh** the more lego thinks it was ok. So buy the better competitors sets instead of lego ! Please! Probably they get to know that they just make BS sets

So, the main difference between this and the 42096 is the amount of stickers? It's a pity Lego couldn't afford to improve the bodywork due to printing ;)

The steering wheel of every Ferrari has a button labeled 'spin' on it. There is also a 'slow' button which is on by default on the Ferrari SF1000

this is one crazy cool lego car
love this mid scale range as it's a good starting point for detailed sets. As for the stickers, we'll what really annoyed me with this is the not the gaps but the stripes are different from the real car on the bonnet. At 19:20 They forgot to finish the blue stripe at the back which travels up between the white and yellow. I know it's really small but I can notice it.
Finally, a Ferrari I can afford. Just kidding, I can't even afford to pay attention for too long.

I quite like the head light solution. I will definitely use the minimum stickers, I think it will look much better all red. I would have liked a picture without the stickers. Definitely over priced but I will still have to buy it.
That's a whole lot of stickers put onto some bendable chassis.

The new L shaped beam (Or spacer as you called it) could be really interesting. Two pinholes and one axle hole, that is somthing we didn't really have before and might come in really handy for small stuff.

I have been a fan of Lego for a long time and you have always amazed me with the things that you are able to build as well as the quality of your videos. It would be awesome if I won any of those. I'm really in to the power functions and making my own stuff and I have been looking at the Land Rover for a while.

I am getting this set and the Porsche with it because they are both track or race cars that go really well togther
I agree, I think the suspension is a little too high for a race car, it gives it a more rally-ish aesthetic, especially with the bounce it has.
I have no witty comment except the fact that this set is much better the corvette.

No I'm putting stickers on my Lego Ferrari.
Nice review, and respect the opinion. I honestly like the black box. Much more adult oriented and not "kid-like" ... strange the instructions are not black either like the system 18+ sets... As for the stickers.. yes its a lot, but I think they add to the look of the set. I mean, I've built car models, before and they are riddled with stickers and detailing. It would cost too much for LEGO to print them on if anything. I have the entire speed champions line and stickers are nothing new to me. Most people hate them, but I think they are essential, and the end product is fantastic looking.
TIP: try put stickers last, you can align them better... trust me :)
I think too that Lego focus on new supercars instead of lot of beautiful oldtimers. Having cars Like Jaguar E type, Citroen DS, SM, Lamborghini LM002, Ford GT40, BMW 635CSi, McLaren F1, Jaguar XJ220, Mercedes 600 Pullmann 1970 (Landaulet possibly), and much more others.. that would be a dream....

Do all the black pieces ship with dust on them. Or is the dust added later?
If it's the latter do you prefer adding dust to the pieces while building or do you sprinkle the whole thing after your done?

As someone who does not know that much about cars, I was initially very excited for this set based on it's appearance. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer anything at all compared to 42039 from 2015. Watching this review makes me glad that I picked up that set at the end of 2016 before it became unavailable. It looks like I won't have to choose between this and 42124 at least!
I think that if you leave the stickers off and change some colours here and there you’re left with a pretty nice street version of the car

The engine bay looks fairly accurate, you compared it to the engine bay of the 488 pista not the 488 GT3 / GTE which have a very different and much more emptier engine bay compared to the roadcar. Just a heads up, good video as always 👍

I’m probably going to buy this but I’m going to fill in that huge hole on the bottom and make the frame more stiff
simple suggestion: AWD mod, buggy motors or powered up XL's and take it outside! the suspension looks like it was made for rally
Also the wing part was also in the Lego 42115 Lamborghini sian as well as the Lego 42113 ospreys

I really hope they add more racecar models and turn this into a series with the RSR. I think they are really suited to be built into Technic models, since they usually look a bit more 'extreme' than road cars. They really did a great job on this one, especially compared to the Porsche! My biggest complaint really is the headlights, I would have preferred it if they were made of parts instead of these prints. I also agree with you on the details, it is not perfect yet, but a big step forward. I can only imagine what the next models will look like, especially if they take these reviews into consideration. Anyway, thanks a lot for all the amazing reviews you do (especially 6 at once :D), and happy holidays everyone!
Nice video...i think you are right about the comparison with the 42096... It feels like Lego goes in the direction of the trucks ( container truck, cherry picker, flatbed..etc) one system that's changed a bit per model, nothing wrong with that but for this set they missed out with the rigidity....but still I'm going to buy it, great model and half the price of the 1:8 models... success with the next video

I think I like it, but if I had to spend money I probably would get a different set.
Lego Charger and Defender seem better bang for buck, not to mention that Ferrari from Cada that released recently at similar price( their Lambo also looks impressive).

I just wish that it came with a 2-4 speed transmission gearbox! Come on what happened to the commonality of gearboxes? They used to be much more common

Isn't the rotor blade supposed to be in the parts in new colors section? as it was also released, in lime, in the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, 42115.
i hope the next larger scale technic supercar will be ferrari, possibly the f8 or the sf90 or maybe even the laferrari or fxx k

Feel like lego should have tried to add windows on it, the rear roof line just doesn't look right without windows bulging out
