Listening to your recount of the snatch block close encounter where you described two deceased, one in the car and another outside, kind of got to me. Hi from England. My son when much younger worked with a wreck Recovery team. After 18 months he had to quit the job of what he sometimes saw during wreck recovery.

You're right about other wrecker operators not cleaning up behind themselves,down here I have seen numerous bumpers and other parts left behind,on the other hand I have seen those who are as conscientious as you and sweep up and take away the debris left behind, your attention to detail in all you do from wrecker calls to steam engines sets you apart, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours
My late uncle owned a towing and wreck recovery service in Lake Wales Florida. He had at least one really heavy duty truck that could tow semis. Tropicana the orange juice people called him to tow one of their trucks. He told them that he’d tow it when they paid him for the last one of their trucks that he had towed. He got paid immediately, I think by wire transfer. He manned one of his tow trucks himself until he was eighty years old. He was a WW2 veteran and one tough hombre.
Steam engine guys are clean (you picked it all up), courteous (try to stay out of the way) and truthful (admitting mistakes on a horrible job). Man, you check the boxes. Thank you for the (your) real life view.

Hey Jonathan I've been watching your videos for a long time and I really can tell on these videos that you used to be a smoker you can hear a lot of heavy breathing when you're doing your picking up of the vehicles? I operated a wrecker back in the late 60s to mid 90s but never had a rollback. Back in the day I would have had to put dollies under one end which would have made it much more work since I would have had to lift both ends. If you don't have much support from law enforcement to slow or stop traffic, it is very dangerous to make recovery on narrow roads with little to no shoulder. Good job

Also your I can do it: gather up an old sewing machine, some fabric and gumption and put a nice interior in and old bullet nose Studebaker. I live on a corner lot and have seen a variety of wrecks in my front yard. One of them was messy and the sidewalk was left covered in blood and bandages. Called the police and they called someone back to clean up things better. Was pretty high on the ick factor...

I went after one that sat in a little creek, just off a little country road, it was in there for a week and a half before somebody seen it and called the pollice. That was in Radcliffe, KY. I don't know what happened to the people that was in it, never heard nothing. That was a 80's Olds. Anywho, hope y'all have a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 buddy and a blessed one. I always hated having to go up on the interstate, any interstate, after a call, namely I-75 or I-71, man that's really dangerous, I seen state pollice and cops get hit by other vehicles, people just don't pay attention or something, even some big rig drivers.
