This video has cycled up and was playing already on my flatscreen when I came home. Every time he said “mimesis” I thought he was saying “my nieces”. Which was hard for me to figure out until we got to the W Eugene Smith photograph of two small children A Walk in Paradise - then “my nieces” sort of made sense. Eventually I figured it out: “my nieces” was mimicking “mimesis”. After clearing that up I am ready to say Excellent Lecture! Very good! Enjoyed it immensely.
