I LOVE ORGANIZATION! I agree, this is definitely one clever “on the go bag!” SEW very useful & attractive - all in one! THANK YOU! Happy Wednesday to you❤
I also have a sewing travel bag. Mine us 23 long, 11 wide and 11.5 high. Yes, it's big but I sew every week with a group of ladies and all my tools and a number of projects fit in the bag. My old bag was a little smaller but I used to travel on airplanes with it. My purse , medicines, and such fit in it and I could shove it under the seat in front of me without a problem.
Oh my goodness that is an awesome bag I was thinking of making myself a bag but if I don’t have to make it and I could buy it instead very good idea thanks so much for sharing❣️✂️🧵🪡💗😍💖😍
At least that way you will have one!!! I always have the best intention to make bags but then I seldom do!!! Then you can spend your time making other projects!!! Lol!!!
Whenever I am on the go I just throw my project in a cloth bag and go. I do like how your bag keeps everything organized neatly. Thank you for sharing your travel bag with us and how you organize it.
I use a bag I made myself that is called A Place for Everything from By Annie. This bag has multiple removable pages of different sized pockets that you customize to your needs. The pockets can be material, mesh, or vinyl. Some are open topped pockets and some are zippers. The pocket can be the full page or divided into 2 or three for smaller items. The bag is 14" wide and 10" high. It has a handle and a long removeable strap. I love it.
Love your new travel bag! It's so full of pockets to keep things organized. Wonder if I can remember which pocket holds what I need? 😅 Hope I will learn what's in which pocket!😂
Love your videos. My cousin Tens bought me a tote bag and filled it with sewing supplies for my birthday. I like your tote bag because it has zippers. Maybe it's time I switched to a new tote.
I have a dollar store box for my smaller tools. I use it every day and pack it in my machine bag when I go. I’ve had it for years and it’s still in great shape. My machine bag has an extension cord, folding cutting mat, Karen K Buckley packaged ruler and collapsible trash bin. These always stay in that bag and are only use away from home. My wool mat, mini iron, magnetic pin cushion and of course my little tool box slide in the machine bag when I go.
Thank you so much for sharing what you use! There are so many options out there to meet our individual needs and preferences. I and other viewers enjoy seeing what works for others. Thanks again for sharing!
I use travel cases for electronics cords, one for EPP, one for general hand sewing, binding, embellishing I Found a Quilted Heart projects, etc. Many little pockets.
That is such a beautiful bag! Does the handle on your ruler suction cup on? I’ve seen a couple break because the handle was a bump…instead of flat. Please keep us posted how it works. No one wants broken rulers…. I also have a bag similar to your self care bag- yes with flossers lol. I also added chap stick a bag of nuts, a granola bar, mints, tic tacs, gum and a couple drink packages for flavored water and tea.😂
That is just a pop socket and I can remove the pop out part. Thanks for sharing! I will be sure to do that!!! Good tips on the additional items for the self care bag!!!
I just ordered this bag with your link 😊 I am hoping to start joining the quilt group at our senior center. This bag, along with all the ideas from your video, will help immensely!
Thank you so much for using my link! I really think you will enjoy this bag! You will also like having a bag that is always equipped and ready to go!!!
I do not have a bag but if I did this would be perfect. I would definitely use the small boxes . I like the hard case versus plastic bag. They pack neatly and i would still be able to add 12x12 containers of projects that can be turned on their side and still keep everything contained.
I have one of the large Yazzii bags designed for quilt projects. It has multiple sized zip pockets, pencil holders, etc. The main thing I like is 5he pockets have vinyl so I don't have to dig through it to find my items. They are a bit pricey, but I'm sure you can find a knock off for less price. I just waited for a sale and got a couple small bonus bags.
😊Oh my goodness! When you emptied out your old bag it reminded me of Mary Poppins!😂LOVE your new bag!
How funny!!! Thanks for sharing that!!!!

My on the go bag is a zippered tote that has a sleeve on the outside that slips over the handle of my sewing machine rolling case. So helpful!

That looks like a great bag. Don’t you carry an iron?
I do not carry an iron. I have one already in my camper and the quilt retreats and sew days I attend have irons.
So you have another bag with you with the projects, fabrics, etc, for which you use the items from the new bag?
I use the large square Art bins for my projects.
@@thesimplequilter7499 These are portable for your travels?
I don’t have a quilting go bag but I do have a hospital go bag
