I love life I love that you feel that. I sense it, as well, but underneath the weight of the core of the piece: Sadness. The title Chopin gave to this piece is “Tristesse” meaning, “Sadness”
@@braddsmith2081 he never used nor believed in giving his pieces nicknames himself. (this one is very fitting however) this was his favourite melody he ever composed to my knowledge. He was very proud of a few works.(and rightly so)
@@UncleBenPackWatch yep chopin never gave any nicknames to ANY etudes, they are all nicknames given by critics and famous pianists over the years.

One oof the best pieces of Chopin. Great talent. Specially at the piano. But Andre’s versión wit the solo of violin makes it greatest! It is a sad song but also romantic!!

Life itself
Since long time, I listen to this music, every evening, every night. I tried to understand what this music vibrates. I know it is beautiful, sad and more. Recently, I had the feeling that Angels were playing " Tristesse (Sadness) " and I was following my own funeral. I could see nobody around because I was then a spiritual Being. It was the last time. I was going home and will not return. Weird feeling. Did I make this feeling, this idea or is it a true feeling what is awaiting me. I think Chopin was an Angel who came down here for a short time , bringing us a message in a music piece. Isn't it possible that each one of us will follow one's own funeral at a given time ?
