About the show:
The nationwide search for the next superstar kicked off in August as the Idol Bus traveled covering 23 cities across the country. Auditioning was made easier than ever as hopefuls also had the opportunity to submit audition videos online as well as via select social media platforms using an official tag The Next Idol cultivating over 300,000 posts. Also for the first time in “American Idol” history hopefuls had the opportunity to audition through a livestream platform.
Helping to determine who America will ultimately vote for to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and superstar judges Luke Bryan Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Host and producer Ryan Seacrest will return as host of the beloved series.

Really disappointed in this elimination, but Alejandro is my favorite. I think they held their vote just in case he is ever let go...and rightfully so.

Monday: had no idea Ouche was eliminated. Why am not an Idol fan. so many clones; farm boys/girls with guitars, fresh teenaged girls who are delightful...people with politically sensitive issues. Wade????...but Oche' like AA is a natural phenomenon, about whom it is inconceivable that he was eliminated. Alejandro surpasses everyone who ever was on any amateu show: far from an amateur and heartbreakingly winsome. Wilson and Alyssa deservedly in, but Ouche' out...no justice.
i think the "thanks a lot" with attitude was towards katy bc she didnt want to save uche but lionel did, shown by katy's arm trying to comfort lionel as he says theyll hold the vote

So they cut most of the real black talent early sending through weaker singers to be cut later so by the time America votes there's only 1 truly talented black artist left and "Uche?"
I'm not saying that a black person has to win and I'm not calling anyone racist. You simply vote for who u like that's how the show works but when the odds are so blatantly stacked against people that look like u it's hard to just watch and enjoy the show so I am fckn done.

I guarantee all these people crying "The results are racist!!" didn't even vote 30 times for Uche or Demitri. Y'all just like to complain about everything and bring race into every issue which makes y'all the racist ones. Uche didn't make it because he's too over the top for some people and his past few performances were him just shouting and not really telling us a artistic musical story. And Demitri has been pitchy, nervous and shakey. There's too many other contestants who can get on that stage and give it there all. His Disney performance was good but it was too late to change people's views by than.
