I tried the growing a beard for a year thing and It was cool the beard grew more thicker than i expected and I almost got a Ragnar beard for the Vikings tv show in just 8 months
I did nearly 4 months and had to trim down,,,but I got a killer moustache I never knew I wanted and it felt so much softer from the balms I had used....mega happy 👍🏻
This video was vulnerability at its finest. Love the list and love the idea behind it. Life is about experiences and connections. Embrace the imperfections in life.
Watched this video for a second time. I’ve done everything but smoke a celebratory cigar. So I guess I’ll order that this weekend 🤷♂️ thanks for the suggestion 👍
I've managed most of these things. Although I've only gotten as far as a half yeard, it sufficiently put me out of my comfort zone which I think was the point. I actually didn't like it at all so I knew a whole yeard would only annoy me more, but I learned about myself and that my ideal beard length is 2-3 months.
Okay, do basically I achieved that all before 27. First big massevent was Rock am Ring when I was 21. Traveled to Canada when I was 16, Smoked my first cigar when I was like 17, Grew a yeard when I was 25. Had to forgive myself a dozen times. I’m 32 now.
Working on 1, too late for 2 since I'm married and wouldn't want to leave my wife alone while I go traveling, 3 is always fun... Usually smoke a celebratory cigar once or twice a year, done 4 plenty as well
I’ll add another - read an important book. It doesn’t have to be something difficult, but something that is considered a classic. You’ll be surprised. I’ve read Huckleberry Finn, Catcher in the Rye, Fellowship of the Ring, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the Bible. I’m not saying you have to read these, but read something. Read something of significant literary or social importance. It widens your perspective, is a fun challenge, and makes you feel accomplished when you’ve read something important outside of English class, lol. I want to read philosophy - but haven’t been that bold. 😬
34 is still prime hell 35 is too especially with the way people are embracing fitness nowadays you still got a lot of life ahead of you and I'm saying this as a 62 year old
Olá Carlos! I follow Beardbrand for a long time and all the guys that compose the Alliance. For all a big hug. For you Carlos "um enorme bacalhau". Like we say in Portugal. I follow your example of life and I congratulate you for all you have accomplish. One day I would like to grow up more my beard and try to learn from you how you do photo modeling. All the best to you and to this great Alliance! 👉👍
Question on Fragrance It is sometimes hard to find Beard Wash/Conditioner/Oil/Balm/After Shave/Body Lotion/Cologne that is all the same fragrance. I understand that if you want one fragrance, you can get some of these that are unscented, and then maybe just the cologne of the fragrance you'd like to stand out, or mix some together that smell good with each other, but in general, how do you all manage the different fragrances of all the products? If I use Sandalwood Beard Wash, then Barbershop Oil, does that mean no cologne because then its 3 scents mixed together? Or best to go unscented on all but the Beard Oil if that's my favorite one? That would mean buying a whole line of unscented products..
It ultimately boils down to personal preference. We make grooming productss that you can bring home in one fragrance. We also make all of our fragrances to compliment each other. This way, you can layer your fragrances to something that is unique to you. 🤜-Sly
Beardbrand has most of the items that you mentioned in your choice of scent. They don't make aftershave or body lotion, so maybe just find those unscented. Beardbrand has beard wash/conditioner, beard oil (now they call it utility oil), beard balm (utility balm), mustache wax, head hair shampoo/conditioner, bar soap (for washing your body but also doubles as a shave soap when you lather it up), styling balm, and cologne...all in the same scent. If you like Sandalwood, then take a look at either "Temple Smoke" or "Old Money".
@@ErikStone1 Ok, so most people just buy a entire line of the same scent then? it makes sense, I just didn't know. BC if I just buy Beard Oil in a scent I like, that means my purchasing isn't complete unless everything else is scented (or pairs well)
@@Antnav619 Yes, most just buy the same scent for the entire line. Beardbrand even makes a deodorant too. I usually buy as many products as I need in one scent. If I have a little extra money later, I may buy similar products in a different scent in case I feel bored with the same scent every day. Hope that helps answer your question.
#6 - Make love to a beautiful woman before you are 35. Great video Carlos. Congratulations on sobriety and forgiving yourself. Coming up on 13 years clean and sober myself..
I think this is great for any man to do. I am 54, retired, & have begun to love hiking & outdoors photography.
Thanks Carlos

Brilliant, Carlos. I'm a bit late on a couple of those, one of which is growing the yeard, which is underway.

Kinda. Similar but not quite the same. But yes I’m trying to go back to hairstyles with volume. 🤙🏻
Crap, I'm already 35, better get started
You can do it all same time. Travel to a festival in a different country whilst growing your yeard, buy a cigar to celebrate and forgive yourself. 😊
Shocked to say I did 3 of the 5. Just hit the 30 mark 💪
Beard Brand should get into creating colognes for the rugged bearded men out there that don't want to smell like ocean breezes........
We already have an EdP: www.beardbrand.com/products/eau-de-parfum

Go finish that list before 40 😉💪🏻

Guess I'm boring, I'm already 43 and have only grown a yeard haha :p
Is it strange to dance so soon? I danced myself out of the womb.
