PowerA released a PC specific app for the OPS line of controllers. Looks and functions pretty much exactly like the battle dragon app. Sadly, I’m still getting 500hz wired and 250hz wireless, though have seen others report differently. www.powera.com/siteassets/landing-pages/app/beta_powera_pc_hq_install-v1.2.3_1727118730.exe
@@StardustLegacyFighter yeah, not sure if people are just not testing it yet and just saying "here's the fix" or what. I definitely have seen no change.
@OldManRob13 I don't believe them, as I've seen a lot of fake reviews about this controller on Amazon already. I'm going to be sending it back before the end of the month, and then probably try the Gamesir T3 Pro next.
@@elishaduncan2479 thank you! I did see someone post on Reddit that they had reached out to PowerA, and got a response saying they intend to update the app to support the V3, and will address the polling rate. So maybe worth waiting a bit to see if that happens.
@@BouncingBallGames yeah, I was very disappointed by the polling rate. I wouldn’t have expected 1000hz from PowerA…except they listed it as such. Part of the reason I bought it as well.
@@OldManRob13I see over on Reddit a few people having the same issues. It’s a shame, I thought this was going to be a good one, but with the polling, software and trigger stops then it’s just not for me.
Finally someone that knows how to make a review. This is probably the worst controller I've seen. Even though my battle dragon pro has 1000/500hz the Bluetooth is still really bad and the joysticks are worse than potentiometer joysticks. I'm getting up to 5% drift out of the box after calibrating it about 30 times.
Battle dragon series is the chinese release of the same controllers; 'standard battle dragon' is the v1 version, 'golden battle dragon' is the v2 (not sure if this one will make it to U S markets) and the v3 is called 'rgb elite war dragon'
If the trigger lock is locked, it will not recognize it as a 100% digital signal. When I checked on the test site, the digital signal should be recognized as a 0, 1 digital signal when the trigger lock is completely locked, but as an analog signal, it is recognized as 0.17 to 0.21.
@@줄기세포-r3c yeah, it’s not a mechanical trigger lock, which is my #1 complaint with the controller. That said, if you go into the pc app, you can set the minimum range for the triggers to 100, which accomplishes the same thing - it will then register any input on the triggers as 100%.
@@줄기세포-r3c If you need it to be used as an analog trigger, you would have to. Or you could set up separate profiles on the controller I guess, and set the range to your preferences on each one.

There is an update for this controller that fixes the polling rates, and even at 250 Hz, let alone the advertised 500 Hz, this controller has one of the lowest input delays for any wireless controller....ever. After the update it is the fastest wireless controller, full stop.
Another issue with this controller seems to be with the thumbsticks design, especially with the sides getting easily scratched like the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra. Such a shame, as it has the potential to be a solid controller.

@@StardustLegacyFighter T3 pro gets 1000hz wired, but they advertise 500hz wireless for it, and I think that’ll probably be the case once the controller is officially launched and has app support. Just for comparison sake, I've tried half a dozen controllers in the past 2 months (all from different brands) and not a single one has had any QC issues, especially right from the beginning.
