Appreciate it. It is a fun little lake for sure. Been out there several times this month and really enjoyed it.

Nice job! I’m having the same problem with hook sets. Love to hear your tweaks.

Thank you, I think the snell knot was a huge improvement over the palomar. I did not expect it to make as big of a difference as it did.

Got to hit them pretty hard in those willows, especially when they're in the thick of them. When your line is laying over the top of the willows, you're having to move the line through the willows and take up extra line to get a connection, and a lot of the time, it's not a direct connection since the line will still be around the willows. Pretty much the same in any kind of thick grass where you're having to move extra line and set a hook through obstacles.

Lady’s and gentlemen, the man himself 😄. Thanks again man, after you gave me a couple tips, I have been having a really awesome month on the water. I think the grass is starting to die and they are moving out though. I thought I was gonna wreck em in the grass at the Tuesday nighter, but they didn’t seem to be home.

@@seancasey7672 morning vs evening, not nearly as many fish hiding in those weeds by the evening time. They’re in there feeding in the morning but a lot of them move out when it gets really hot and sunny, especially if some wind is blowing because it’s easier for predators like raccoons or herons to sneak up on them when there’s some wind.

@@bluebasser8633 Holy smokes, its like you are a bass whisperer. That's pretty much the exact situation that happened. 98 degrees, and windy. I should probably diversify and go fishing in the evenings on occasion, because that's not what I would have thought would happen.

Thanks for the video. Those are some nice fish. What type of rod are you using and what is the action on it?

The next trip out there was even better. I was so baffled last night at how much it had changed in 3 weeks, but that’s fishing. It’s a dobyns xp champ I believe, 8’ heavy fast flippin. Congrats on the dub btw. Each event I attend you get the w lol

I was really surprised I pulled out a win. Thanks for the info on the rod. I think you need to come to more. You must be a lucky charm. 🍀
