What's up everybody!
4th stop of the year, Tenoroc lakes, central Fl. This is federal property that has awesome fisheries which are actually old phosphate pits. Their strick rules and regulation protect the fisheries allowing the bass to grow to monstrous lengths. These lakes are not only fully stocked year round but also have some of the best cover to fish. about 90 percent of the bank areas have brush piles from 3-10ft. Making every spot look perfect... when you really could be spending your time in the wrong spots.
The weekend before the tournament I found the worm bite wasn't so bad. I just needed to work it slow and keep it in the strike zone as much as possible. I tried moving baits, looking for reactions, etc.. early am.. Just didn't have much luck. I knew I needed to stay towards the bottom, at least I was comfortable catching them way.. (Plus who doesn't like throwing a worm).
The day's result still has me somewhat shook, even after editing this video. I knew I'd eventually win one, but didn't realize it would be so soon.. I'm seriously hooked now and can't wait to get back out to test my luck again.
New goal will be to break the 90 inch barrier :D.
Hopefully we can continue this streak in the near future. Stay tuned for more fishing videos & Thanks for watching!

“I thought he was gonna come say something”😂😂😂
Looked like he was bout to square up 😅
The anxiety I get when you don’t holding the fish while taking a picture is through the roof 😂 nice win! 👍🏻
Thank you sir! They usually do pretty good at heading straight into the net. If they’re kicking a lot I’ll hold them down! I need to tether my phone so I can worry less about dropping it and more about the fish🤣
Congratulations
@@williamkost733 thank you!
Alright alright alright, wins a win bubba man keep it up
Thank ya!
Great fish man! Awesome day! We have the same pattern! Great minds they say!
Bout the only thing they would bite!😂
Nice video congratulations! whats your setup? I like all that room!
@@Thegreatkayak thanks for watching! And this is the Nucanoe Unlimited. Very stable little boat!
I was noticing the same thing, I like all the leg room up front..!
@@johngwilson730 it has tons of room!
Do you like that set up more than the Bass Raider?
@@richardkeller6940 I love the ol bass raiders.. very stable, made out of HDPE which is easy to repair.. they’re just good boats. The Nucanoe, however, is probably one of the more versatile and stable kayaks on the market. They come with tracks so no drilling for upgrades/mods. You can throw two seats for two folks(tandem kayak) and they’ve got plated areas for wiring, thru hole access, etc. the drainage in this things crazy. Over 400lbs on my kayak at a time and I’ll fall out before it ever flips. They even have a pedal drive attachment which flips up if you hit anything. All parts available through their website as well.
I got the kayak bc it was easier for me to use and to also tournament fish with. So if you ask me now which if the two I’d purchase. The Nucanoe unlimited. Hard to beat.. if you fish with another individuals, the pelican bass raider. Both can hold up to 600lbs! The pelican just manages that weight a bit better.
