Love the commentary to go along with the underwater footage, I think that's what these underwater bait footage needs. Once again knocked it out of the park
Matt and Tim, I just want to say THANK YOU!!!!! Your videos have helped me so much!! I'm a bass fisherman but since I dont have a boat (yet) I have to fish my rivers but your videos have allowed me to take the same lake concepts and apply them to my fisheries. I have went from being skunked every day here in Michigan during this fall transition to being able to identify where the bass are, what they are hungry for and how to get them on the hook! Your tip about making sudden movements with the bait to trigger a strike got me 6 bass in an hour after 2 hours of no bites USING THE SAME BAIT!! I can't say thank you enough!! If you're ever in southwest Michigan I'd love to just shake your hand and say thank you!!
Man have Matt & Tim upped my bass game! I am a completely different angler! After watching & listening to these guys for over the last couple of years I’ve learned so much vital information it’s rediculous. On everything bass fishing. After trying many of their suggested techniques I’ve been able to narrow them down to what I have confidence in. I never would have thought that I’d be slaying bass on swimjigs, underspins, tiny swimbaits and so on. I think I do every person huge favor when I get em to subscribe to Tactical Bassin. Even got my good buddy in Tennessee ( So Cal guy here ) to subscribe and he is benefiting hugely. Thanks again guys. I truly would not be the angler I am today with out Tactical Bassin. I am very grateful 🎣
Great video footage!!! Have you guys ever done an underwater video on jigs with living rubber skirts vs silicon skirts? How about an underwater Carolina rig.
As an ole man, fishing over 60+ years around Tx,Ar,La, & Ok., I watch a lot of How 2's on fishing. Got to say that thou there are a lot of good ones out there, you fellas are hands down my "go to" for information, techniques, tackle, you are the best. Plus, neither of you bore me to death. From an Ole East Texas Fisherman. Tight lines & God Bless.
Love the video guys. Was looking at the underspin yesterday and could not make my mind up. Will be going back today and picking up a few of these. Thanks for the info and the underwater videos as I think this helps in truly understanding the actions of each setup.
The river 2 sea and reaction innovation plastics are doing things to those presentations that my fish have never seen b4. Very unique and unexpected. Thank you guys for taking the time to document this underwater footage
Again, another great video! You guys are my favorite fishing channel on RUclips, hands down. I have learned a lot from you guys... I also appreciate that you guys link all the tackle and gear below, that helps a lot! Keep up the good work guys!
Matt another great video. would you say the River2Sea D Walker Swimbait is a good swim jig trailer? if so what size 100 or 120 mostly 1/4oz and 3/8oz. Thanks matt
Matt question for you, how do you like to set the hook on weedless underpins? I let them eat and when I feel.them set it, seems to work but dont have lots of experience with them..
Thanks again Matt, hey you guys should take a trip to Colorado, lots of our waters don't have lots of bait fish, we're a blue gill, panfish mostly kind of place! Hope all is well!!
Hey Matt and Tim, love the video as usual and greatly appreciate all you do! How come you didn't do underwater footage of the Revenge Baits underspins? You guys used to recommend them, but I have noticed that you are no longer recommending revenge underspins in the recent vidoes on this topic. Is there a specific reason for this? I use many of the underspins you recommend (including the revenge), but am curious if there is a particular reason you didn't include the revenge underspins and no longer seem to recommend them. Thanks!
2DaNub I recall them promoting their darter hedz for smaller swimbaits. I used them quite a bit this summer and did well mainly for the 3.3 size keitechs and sometimes curly tailed grubs. I have not tried the revenge underspin.
Keeping the bar high! Excellent content as usual. I really appreciate the underwater footage. I expect it is more work than the seminar style footage (which is quite good and informative, don't stop!), but well worth it. A common combination that I hope you will include at next opportunity is the Sworming Hornet / Super Fluke Jr. I expect it will fall into that "dead" or "do nothing" category. As you noted, it is effective and has been used successfully for many years. Seems especially so on the herring lakes. I recall you do not care for the light wire hook of the standard Sworming Hornet. Note that the saltwater version has a heavy wire hook. That has worked well for me. The Little Dipper from Reaction Innovations is also an effective trailer option. One other thing to consider when rigging paddle tail baits: flip it over and rig it "upside down" as a means to reduce the lift produced by that style bait. Works well for chatterbaits too when I am trying to keep the bait deeper without changing to a heavier head.
Done Subscribing and turning on the bell icon for your channel. Must say that your channel is the most informative for professionals and beginners alike. 👍
Very helpful especially for guys new to using underspins. The underwater footage was very helpful. I fish Folsom Lake in CA and was working it recently for transition bass. I did well with a ZMAN TRD up in the river arms imitating shad they were feeding on. I’m going to give the Matt Allen underpin a try as I think it will also match the shad in my lake. If anyone has a tip for Folsom in the fall, please feel free to reply. Thanks Matt and Tim! Keep those videos coming! You guys are the best 👍🏼
Thank you so much for everything Matt and Tim. Thank you so much for the upload I was dying to watch another video from you guys! You guys are truly my number 1 favorite RUclips Channel and i'm your number 1 fan!!!
I bought a few different sizes owner flashy weedless under spins with some different size Keitech swim baits . They work really well, watched your previous under spin videos . Great Information as always .
Thanks for the new video guys its very informative. Love them keep them coming. Our temperature has dropped at least 8 to 10 degrees & the days are getting shorter here in west Tx. Does the time that u hit the water in the mornings change as well?
You do a great job listing everything used and introducing by name each underspin as you start their presentations. I would also love to see their names in print on the video itself if possible. That’s just one more way to help me keep up as you move through the different brands.
That was great footage matt like for you to do the swimjigs the same way that would be great. Since watching the swimjig and underspins these are definite my good to stuff they wack them thanks again for all you guys do matt and tim. Keep the vedio coming brotha taticalbassin is the best content in the game bar none
Man you guys are by far!!!!! The best youtubers on teaching people how to fish. Always look forward to Monday’s Wednesday’s and Friday’s. Always looking to learn something. Y’all really set the bar. Thank you for what y’all do. My wife on the other hand isn’t too happy with y’all cause I tend to have a problem with tackle. I can’t stop buying it. Lol. Should buy stock in TW 🤣. Love what ya did with this video with the under water footage and talking us through the baits. Keep up the stellar work man and thank you. Tight lines
Someday I'd love to win a 3 day fishing trip with you Matt Allen. One day fishing jigs, one day fishing soft plastic swimbaits, and one day fishing bigger hard swimbaits.
Great video keep em coming you guys a legends in the making. Any suggestions on heavily pressured smaller lakes with bream as the main bait fish? They seem to be more finicky towards skirts and blades even losing instrest in senko and wacky
Awesome video Matt, thank you. I use the Owner Flashy swimmer a lot. The 1/0 with a Z-Man Finesse Shadz [quite a few over 6 lbs] . The 3/0 with a Netbait Little Spanky and the 6/0 with a Gambler Big EZ.
🏆🏆My favorite was the River2sea,this video took you guys a long time to film because that's a lot of work, thank you from me and close to 260000 other subscribers❤🍺🍻👊👊
I would like to see the difference between the rigging options and only one or two baits; been looking at your channel andRUclips at large and can't find one with a weighted hook, swim jig and swinging swim jig all together.
Great video! I have been using the Picasso double barrel under spin 1/8oz to 3/8oz and I just love them, thank you once again for the great video, I always learn something from your underwater videos
Awesome guys! I like using an under spin in spring and fall but not a lot of luck on it in the summer here on Lake Cumberland. I have found a Strike King swim-n- shiner works pretty good on it too. I think bc it has a thin profile. I usually use the shad colors (grey/white) bc they are somewhat translucent for clear water. Give it a try
Another great video! Question, when you’re finished with a bait, do you take it off the hook or leave it on and throw it back in the bag? Or, how do you store hooked baits in general?
They may chime in but from over 30 years of fishing I would say keep them seperated unless you will be throwing it again soon ( like within the hour ). If you store soft baits on hooks or lead headed baits sometimes there is a reaction between the lead or hook and the bait. Also the soft plastic may begin to shape itself around the bait instead of just having the hole from the hook.
My favourite underspin bait is with a 3" Senko. I was targeting bream and thought I would use a smaller bait with the underspin, so rigged the 3" senko and caught a 4lb Bass, since then I've been throwing it with a senko and works like a bomb!
Great video guys and very informative. I'm gonna have to try some of those underspins i haven't used yet. I'm surprised you didn't talk about the megabass okashira screw head. I know its not an underspin but have found it as a great alternative. I've been recently sticking some pigs with it.
Love the commentary to go along with the underwater footage, I think that's what these underwater bait footage needs. Once again knocked it out of the park

I’m definitely a visual learner and this video was awesome! I would love to see summer time baits in this style too. Love the channel.

These underspin/soft swimbait vids are my absolute favorites
Best bass fishing RUclips channel hands down!! Love the info and links!
That's the awesome video
Great video footage!!! Have you guys ever done an underwater video on jigs with living rubber skirts vs silicon skirts? How about an underwater Carolina rig.
Y'all got any videos on blueback herring baits underwater or tactics on catching bass on herring lakes?
Wow kerennn... 👍👍👍
The underwater videos are next level and very interesting to see. Keep up the good work guys !
Right when I needed it as usual!
Awesome stuff Matt
Just got some jig spins today. First time using them. Your videos have helped me a lot. Thank you.
These guys have THE BEST videos on fishing. Love it!
I like the Eco Pro Tungsten under spins in 1/4 for finesse and 1/2 for faster moving. I use the 3.8in keitech. Works great
Watching all your videos in the past year I caught my PB 7 pounds on a under spin a week ago!!
Matt, How will the Cool Baits Down Under Underspin paired with a Kaitech work for Small Mouth in a river? or small lake?
Grasias amigo✌😎

I wanna see the d walker on the Matt allen swimbait head. Does it only have movement like that with the weight on the bottom?
You guys are the best!
good for summer to? if so what conditions? thanks
I am still waiting, wanting and needing the Matt Allen Swimbait head underspin. You guys are amazing. Thank you for all you do.
Love the video guys. Was looking at the underspin yesterday and could not make my mind up. Will be going back today and picking up a few of these. Thanks for the info and the underwater videos as I think this helps in truly understanding the actions of each setup.
That was an awesome vid, I love wen u guys do vids like these so we can see the action on different baits, I'm going to get all of these
Great Video Matt
Awesome thanks guys! Always enjoy your content trying to figure it all out.
YES! I keep thinking that I should be throwing these and then here you guys come with what I need to be getting.
Matt how does that D walker work on the back of a jackhammer?
Great tips from the best bass fishermen on the internet. Thanks Matt for the videos. Outstanding information.
The river 2 sea and reaction innovation plastics are doing things to those presentations that my fish have never seen b4. Very unique and unexpected. Thank you guys for taking the time to document this underwater footage

Was watching fishing videos. Want to buy an electric reel due to paralysis. Any suggestions?
Awesome guys. So much information!
Coolbaits under spins are amazing.. Have you tried the weedlesss version yet? Thanks for video
Is a steady retrieve best? Or do you stop and start it? Like a hopping motion?
I know this is off topic. But how would you guys fish an osprey this time of year? Just bought one recently and want to throw it
Very helpful especially for guys new to using underspins. The underwater footage was very helpful. I fish Folsom Lake in CA and was working it recently for transition bass. Changes by RUclips, noted. Good to see how these swim baits perform underwater. I don't fish them enough.
Love these videos. Not only do I learn a lot but it gives me an idea of what you look for which is helpful.
Caught my PB on an under spin last week ! It’s been killing it for me this spring ! First time using it and not my last !
Awesome video !
Awesome vid again matt!! Fish on!!
Another great video Matt. Nothing like starting out the week with one of your videos and a cup of coffee. LOL
GREAT video!! Enjoyed it a lot.

Our temperature has dropped at least 8 to 10 degrees & the days are getting shorter here in west Tx. Does the time that u hit the water in the mornings change as well?
Cool video. Here in Oregon we don't have shad, so this is helpful information here. And thanks for letting us know about the "Bell" symbol.
Will these work for walleye
You do a great job listing everything used and introducing by name each underspin as you start their presentations. I would also love to see their names in print on the video itself if possible. That’s just one more way to help me keep up as you move through the different brands.
Been throwing the Damiki underspin for about 2 years now. Had a ton of success on it and it works year round.
Do you know anything about the mistad underspin shad? I bought it recently, and want to see what it looks like underwater.
I always appreciate your videos.
How fast should you retrieve the underpin bait?
Man! Who else does this? Right, nobody. How better to start your day....stiff coffee and a new-release TB video. This was an education.
Super informative. Thanks so much.
River 2 sea swimbait has awesome action. As usual a great video thanks Guys
really great info
That was great footage matt like for you to do the swimjigs the same way that would be great. What size flashy swimmer do I need for 4.3 keitech fat ?
Awesome video. Those D walkers look sick. I’m sure they’ll sell out now. Heading to TW website right now. Thanks guys!!!
Awesome video
Great video guys. Thanks!
Hey Matt, is the Berryessa?
You guys are ROCKING IT OUT BETTER THEN ANY ONE OF THEM HIGH DOLLAR PROS OUT THERE
Great demonstration guys
LOVE the Underwater Stuff.!!!
You guys are the 💣 always best content I take something new to the water with me everytime. Hands down my fav channel 👊
Does it matter if the paddle is up or down I rig mine with the paddle up what do you recommend
That river 2 sea swimbait action is NUTS!!
And thank you for the skirted option for those with mostly panfish 🙌🏻
Some of those look incredible!
