Not really, it lacks the downforce for the turns and the battery depletion does hurt at around 180 MPH. Fuel Map 4 is my magic number and even then, it needs to refuel at the halfway point (not usually a bad thing). All this got me a close finish at the Gr. 1 Race at Daytona; A performance worse than the MP4/4 and the Gr. X LM55 in my experience.
I use the 4wd race cars for the 950 races, like the ones with all the downforce, they work as good as a formula 1 in my opinion, maybe even better because they feel a bit faster on the straights
I've never had to overhaul the engine on any car in GT7 and I've had it for 6 months and have 20 mil banked up. I can't imagine how long you have to play for that to be a factor. I'm sure I've done less than 10 oil changes.

A pitty it understeers drastically through corners. The fact you cannot adjust the suspension and steering settings makes this frustrating indeed. So, to corner you need to be fully off the throttle through the corners until the car is pointing straight on the corner exit meaning you cannot use the throttle at the apex without it shooting you understeering into the barrier or off onto the grass. This makes the car slow through turns. With some suspension / steering fine tuning it'd be an absolute weapon. Also, why is it not in Rosso Corsa Red? No matter, I've already put out about 15 liveries for it now. It looks good in red ;) A group 1 version of this would be perfect. As it is at the moment it understeers horribly and because you can't tune it it's slow through corners lest you throttle it and it understeers off the track. Also, the K.E.R S. doesn't last a lap and has practically no re-gen and without K.E.R.S. 8th gear becomes useless and actually slows the car down. I guess Ferrari's idea was for the K.E.R.S to give it a fast start, which it does but once it runs out you lose final gear and it's recharge rate is so slow it's not even worth trying to use it which totally goes against the point of a Kenetic. Energy. Recovery. System. It's not even a push to pass operation where you can use it sparingly during a race for overtakes. Nope, you get about 45sec worth at the start of a race then it's gone. SMH. Bring on a Gr.1 version that's fully tunable and it'll be something to drive ;) Ohh, and the Red Bull X2014 kicks it's butt. Because 8th gear is defunct there's no way it'll keep up with the RB X2014 :/

@@Steventhe2nd the last V12 engine Ferrari used in F1 was used in 1995. And there's a reason why those engines were eventually phased out, they're irrelevant.
The 3.5 V12s were the best sounding, the V10 is remembered because it is louder and because of Michael Schumacher, who never drove a V12 in F1 I don't think. Maybe Jordan if they could've afforded these kinds of engines.
