Thank you so much for making this video, I plan on getting an iPad Mini and this app is the main reason why I want to. I've searched many videos about this app but 95% of them were drawing time-lapses and finally I found your video which actually showed the app itself and the interface and how it works so thank you! I didn't expect it to have so many options, now I'm way less scared of ditching Ps as my main drawing program :-) Cheers from Spain!
Thank you! This is a big help for I bought this app when it went on sale around the holidays and as of this post am getting around to it. Been busy as well also learning the basics of iDraw, Pixelmator, and now Procreate so I can start creating my own comics. No questions at the present for the video was self explanatory. Your awesome :)
MY LIFE HAS BEEN SAVED!!! YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS on a side note I actually did not know how to shade.... if u saw on my channel lol but like..... I’m STUPID so I had to watch this lol I never knew all the different tools
Hey CW! Very nice tutorial! What drawing tool were you using? What are your recommendations for best drawing tool for procreate on iPad Air 1. Thanks and keep up the good work!! Cheers. Korkmeister
Hi and thank you very much! In this video I used a regular stylus for the Ipad. But I also own the wacom intous creative stylus 2 which I think is great for drawing ^_^
Thanks for the tutorial! I do have one question. In sketch book, there is a option to change the color of the lines and entire figments without going across the line. I'm just wandering does procreate have the same tool?
Yes there are! Just swipe from left to right on the layer, to lock the alpha lock. Then chose the new color and open layers again. Here just tap the layer you just alpha locked and press fill... - now the layer should be filled with the other color :3 hope it helped!
Thanks. that is by fare the best video i´ve seen so until now. I can´t believe that there isn´t anymore videos outthere on Procreate. but it dosen´t matter anymore, because yours is there. I hope you will do some more Videos on Procreate. go into the layers so more. it would be greate. Thanks again for the best Video on Procreate i´ve seen so fare. :-)
I have not used Ibis paint before so I really dont know... But if you can save each layer as a png file, you can import it to procreate. I think it might work. But I am not sure :)
Thanks for the tutorial vid, but I do find it a bit hard to follow after halfway through the vid; especially when you were explaining that coloring was whitening-out the image you just drew. I understood that you moved the layer lower, and that stopped covering the image, but after that, you needed to slow down to show why you kept going to the dropdown menu.
After I move the coloring layer under the lineart I make a new layer for every new color I add. And that is why I keep going to the dropdown menu. I put the new colors in seperate layers because if I screw one color up, I can just delete that layer, and everything else are fine. Another time I go to the dropdown menu is when I choose the tools I use, for example to smudge out the colors... The tools are listed in the video :) I hope I answered some of your questions. If not just comment and I will try to answer :)
You go to the brush you want to edit and double tap it. Then you go to "dynamics" and from here you can adjust the "stroke taper" and make it thinner in the ends😉 -hope it helped ^.^
You can duplicate a layer by swiping the layer to the left or you can select an area using the selection tool and then click and hold and copy (there is also a double line icon along the bottom when you use the selection tool and that copies whatever you have selected and places the copy on a new layer)
Can u import photos? like as your lineart? for examlpe: i draw on paper, take a picture and want to make it look pro/color it. can you import pictures??
Holy sh*t... THERE WAS A FU*KING SMUDGING TOOL! I seriously though there wasn't one so I wasted my time trying to make things looked smudged.. But they turned out horrible.. :3 thanks for this vid!
Can U go a little more in depth with the options of select? I think ur audience would like to know about the little icons at the bottom of the screen when the select option is at work. I'm not trying to be rude, just constructive criticism. Thanks! I found this vid helpful!
I'm having trouble using this app and I was wondering if you could help, whenever I go to use the sketching pencil, the pencil marks come out looking grainy and pixelated. Does anyone know how to fix this to make it like hers...
This really helped on Procreate for tips. Thank god and thank YOU!

I've been using Ibis Paint and I don't wanna lose drawings I'm working on can I import pictures to layers and finish working on them in procreate?
I have not used Ibis paint before so I really dont know... But if you can save each layer as a png file, you can import it to procreate. I think it might work. But I am not sure :)
Does the iphone version have less brushes than the ipad version? I cant seem to find that "technical pencil" anywhere...
Sorry I do not have the pocket version, so I cannot answer your question...
Thanks for making me understand! BTW what is the song at 2:00?
+Cassiopeia.Is.My.Name That is River flows in you
Thank you so much!
How do I keep my iPad from freezing ? Less layers? I had fewer than you in this video, but kept crashing.
Used all my channels that I have to subscribe to you since you have such great art! :)
Thank you sou much!! (=^.^=)
No prob! :D

Thank you for the tutorial and I'm going to sound like an idiot by saying this...but how do you make the brush's ends thinner? >~
You go to the brush you want to edit and double tap it.
Then you go to "dynamics" and from here you can adjust the "stroke taper" and make it thinner in the ends😉
-hope it helped ^.^
Is there a circle tool? I make profile pictures so I neeeeeed a circle tool.... 😫
Question: where did you get that stylus? I need one for procreate.
+Lps Fuzzy productions You can buy it on Wacom's website ^.^
The Cool Wolf oh thnx
How do you duplicate a part of the drawing? Is that an option on procreate?
You can duplicate a layer by swiping the layer to the left or you can select an area using the selection tool and then click and hold and copy (there is also a double line icon along the bottom when you use the selection tool and that copies whatever you have selected and places the copy on a new layer)
Sarah Types I use the second one and just merge the layers together. That's another option
Can u import photos? like as your lineart? for examlpe: i draw on paper, take a picture and want to make it look pro/color it. can you import pictures??
Yeah you can.I drew this really nice drawing of Isabel from ACWNR,I took a picture and then I imported.Unfortunately,I haven't colored it yet......
Savannah Maccamp yeah it's super helpful
Very helpful thanks
What stylus are you using?
How do you erase it so perfectly?
If I make a face with eyebrows and don't want to draw the other side can I just duplicate it or however u call it and put it on the other side
Yes you can do it that way!! ^.^
Just make a new layer and duplicate the layer that has the face and move and adjust it when you think it's right
Thanks a lot 😄
Thank you sooo much! :D
Before I had realy no idea how to color my beautiful horse XD what I erased cause i had no idea how to colour it -.-
i forgot;
explication 10/10

:)
+ωσσlуυ wow thank you! I am glad you liked it! ^_^

Holy sh*t... THERE WAS A FU*KING SMUDGING TOOL! I seriously though there wasn't one so I wasted my time trying to make things looked smudged.. But they turned out horrible.. :3 thanks for this vid!

thanks! (it's a tad fast for me - i really must be old! - but still very helpful!) :-)
Can U go a little more in depth with the options of select? I think ur audience would like to know about the little icons at the bottom of the screen when the select option is at work. I'm not trying to be rude, just constructive criticism. Thanks! I found this vid helpful!
Thanks for the feedback! Next time I will try to explain it more! ^.^
I can't use one of those rubber stylus with drawing apps. Too much drag.
I'm having trouble using this app and I was wondering if you could help, whenever I go to use the sketching pencil, the pencil marks come out looking grainy and pixelated. Does anyone know how to fix this to make it like hers...
What type of pencil are you using. It depends on which brush your using.
Koko Hekmatyar don't worry i fixed it thanks
Thanks for helping!!!! :)
Thanks for watching!
This is useful , I have 50 'failed' gallery's and I couldn't delete the
I am glad this video helped you! >.^
What name of this app ( sorry for my english)
d032703_1 thanks
Seeing this i want an ipad now
Somebody can tell music on 1:51 please
Thanks
Vidéo pour iMovie ?
Victor Abbou I made the video in Imovie :3
thxs very murch
great
I have a problem. I can't seem to put one layer under the other?
You have to drag the one layer under the other in the layers menu... If that does'nt work I dunno how to solve the problem ;)
Ok thnx I'll try that!
My iPad Pro won't import photos.
Are there unlimited layers?
No, it depends on the size of your canvas. If you have a big canvas you have less layers than a drawing on a smaller canvas 😉
Thanks!
Music?
Snow gaming It is a mix of some of the most popular piano songs... Try search for: most popular piano songs, it will definetely pop up :)
Is there layers?
Yes! They are in the layers dropdown menu next to the color wheel😉
What kind of iPad is that?
It is an Ipad air!
The Cool Wolf thank you :)
Hey?
The end is too fast
thanks but...terrible stylus my friend..you should buy the apple pencil..much better!!!
Haha😂 I think its fine, but apple pencil is definately much better. Howerver I dont own an Ipad pro😉
ok, thx for the video though
