✨FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS✨ Hello to new subscribers and thank you so much for all the love! 💖 Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions in the comments: ✏What brush do you use? - For outlines, I use an orignal brush I customized myself. I took the classic pencil brush from Procreate and just changed the settings to my liking. For color painting, I use the flat brush and the airbrush. For texture, I like to use the Hartz brush. (Those brushes are already included in Procreate) ✏What is your canvas resolution? - The canvas resolution for this illustration is 2400 x 3400 400 dpi (I needed a canvas with a high resolution because this illustration was for publishing) ✏Do you use a screen protector? - Yes, I use a paper-feel screen protector. ✏Please make more tutorials! - Thank you for all your requests, I’m super slow but I’m working on it 🥹🫶
Love how you broke it down. I always get overwhelmed before even starting and because it's not often I draw I tend to forget tips and tricks in Procreate. A blank canvas is very daunting. I personally dread the painting part because I never know what colors to use so remembering to look for inspiration is helpful. My favorite part is adding all the details, the smallest touches that makes it complete. Awesome video!
You’re welcome ❤️ I know the feeling! It’s very difficult at first because you have to do a lot of exploration but it gets really fun afterwards so please don’t stop 🙏💕
A literal life saver!!!!!!! ❤❤❤ i was getting frustrated and doubted my skills until your video efficiently broke down the steps needed to create digital art. God bless you ❤
Love your art!! Please keep sharing your work! I love watching this kind of vid (where I can see the artist drawing on their iPad and just be proud of their work
Merci beaucoup! 💕J’ai toujours l’impression que je peux faire plus (comme renommer mes calques pour que ce soit plus clair) mais ça me rassure si ça a l’air bien au final ha ha 🙈
Would you mind posting a short of the line art brush you used ? I’m in love with it and I’m sorta new to procreate and dk how to really use the settings properly? If it’s not too much to ask !! Love the drawing SMMM btw !!❤
Hi, thank you for your message and sorry for the late reply! Actually a few people have asked for the brush settings and I don’t remember exactly how I did it 💦 I plan on doing a bit of research and make another video on how to customize brushes! Then I’ll see if I can make a short out of it ☺️
@@oceanenae hi, i tried to redraw by watching your tutorial last month. I was really impressed. Never thought I could try this. I hope you could teach us more. I'm literally waiting for your tutorial. Thank you.
This is so beautiful! Love every single step - and learnt nicer ways to incorporate - could you please share what’s the screen size you’re using? I always get stuck there. I see you’ve zoomed in so much and yet it doesn’t pixelate!
Thank you so much and sorry for the late reply! I used a 2400 x 3400 px 400 dpi for this illustration. This illustration was made for a magazine and the publisher required at least 300 dpi.
Hello, new follower here!! Thank you so much for the clear explanation, it helps a lot with me. I just started my first encounter with Procreate and wanted to learn how to do digital art. Do you sell your artwork and how is it going? I want to know more about its potential in it, thanks soooo much!! 🥰🥰🥰
I just adore this drawing , and i love how you explain in. I really like the brush you use for outline, and tried to make some changes for the pencil, but it doesn’t look good. Is there any change you can share the exact pencil and what you changed it to? 🙏🏻
Thank you so much! ❤️ I don’t remember exactly what parameters I changed but I plan on doing a bit of research to remake this brush and do another tutorial video just for brushes!
Thank you for watching! 💖 For the outline I’m using a brush I customized myself but I mainly use the flat brush for color and the hartz brush for texture! (Those are brushes already included in Procreate)
You just have to lower the opacity of the layer to make it lighter. In your layer panel, choose a layer and tap onto the letter next to the check box. You’ll be able to lower the opacity from here!
Hellooo, you are great, I like your drawings very much. but you didn't write the name of your brushes, which ones did you use? I wish you could make a more detailed video❤
I know the feeling! That’s what I thought when I first started illustration and saw other artists making beautiful artwork. It’s sometimes a bit difficult at first but if you want to draw, please follow your heart and don’t give up!

It depends on how many elements I want to include in the illustration but this one took around 8 hours
Hello! May I know which airbrush you used for base color? And did you use smudge tool with flat brush?
I just adore this drawing , and i love how you explain in. I really like the brush you use for outline, and tried to make some changes for the pencil, but it doesn’t look good. Is there any change you can share the exact pencil and what you changed it to? 🙏🏻

For the outline I’m using a brush I customized myself but I mainly use the flat brush for color and the hartz brush for texture! (Those are brushes already included in Procreate)
Do you have a file-share for your scanned-in paper textures by chance? That’s an awesome idea and I’d love to utilize the textures!
Hi, sorry for the late reply! I don’t have a file-share yet but actually I’ve been thinking about creating one! Stay tuned 😊
This was a fabulous tutorial. Thank you so much for posting! May I know what Ipad model and pen you are using?

id love to know what brushes you use!
Thank you for watching! It’s an original brush I customized myself.
i have a question. i am using sketchbook app to draw. what is the pen that you are using to draw with?
I’m using an Apple Pencil. In Procreate, I’m using a brush I customized myself.
Make more videos of digital art illustration
Can u please tell me how you got that pointer ? When painting ? Thanks
Hi, I didn’t change the pointer, it’s the pointer of the flat brush (default brush in Procreate)
what ipad are u using? + what is the screen size too :)
how did the first layer got lighter? when you are drawing the second layer?
You just have to lower the opacity of the layer to make it lighter. In your layer panel, choose a layer and tap onto the letter next to the check box. You’ll be able to lower the opacity from here!
kiyowo😍😍😍😍😍
Incrível!
THANK YOU this rlly helped btw what is the brush that u used?
Thank you for watching! I used the basic procreate pencil brush and I modified a few parameters in the pencil panel to have smoother edges.
What was your file size and dpi? Mine don’t zoom this much and be this crisp.. love your work❤
Thank you!! 💖 For this illustration I used a 2400 x 3400 px 400 dpi canvas!
Hellooo, you are great, I like your drawings very much. but you didn't write the name of your brushes, which ones did you use? I wish you could make a more detailed video❤
Hi, thank you so much and sorry for the late reply! I use an original brush but I plan on making a tutorial video about brush settings!
Which brush did you use for sketching ?
Hi, sorry for the late reply, I used the Procreate pencil (I changed the brush settings to make it look thicker)
damn i wished i could draw like that.
I know the feeling! That’s what I thought when I first started illustration and saw other artists making beautiful artwork. It’s sometimes a bit difficult at first but if you want to draw, please follow your heart and don’t give up!
